We loved our stay at this hotel. It has personality and felt like a sight seeing location that should be shared. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. We arrived by train so it was super convenient. Everything we wanted to experience was in walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

My apologies for not knowing their names but the 2 ladies on the 7am to 3pm shift are the most helpful and friendliest receptionists I have encountered in my hundreds of hotel stays. Stunning hotel, great location and wonderful staff. Highly recommend. Thank you for a wonderful visit.

Very convenient location

Our stay at Art'otel Amsterdam was exceptional from start to finish. Check-in was a breeze, thanks to the welcoming, friendly, and multilingual staff. Our room was ready upon arrival and offered a lovely view of the canal and Amsterdam Central train station. Despite its central location, the room was quiet, with no outside noise filtering in. The room itself was spacious and featured a peekaboo wall allowing a view through the bathroom's glass wall. The elevator's dark ambiance added to the hotel's unique vibe. However, if you rely on good lighting for makeup, I recommend bringing a portable light for the bathroom as it is dimly lit. Our room was well-equipped with a coffee/espresso maker, tea, and a bar. One minor downside is the cost of water – a 16oz bottle is a whopping 6 euros, so I suggest getting your water from the nearby supermarket. Breakfast was a very chill experience, accompanied by lounge music that made it the most relaxing start to the day. It was never crowded, there were plenty of seats, and the attentive staff seated us immediately and were always on hand to help. The hotel's artwork, spaciousness, reading area, welcoming staff, and fantastic location make it an excellent choice. I highly recommend Art'otel Amsterdam – a definite 10 out if 10

We returned to this hotel since we stayed here before. There were problems with housekeeping. For a hotel in this price range it does not offer the appropriate level of service. I would pay less and stay across the road in a number of hotels at a cheaper price

Hotel is a great location and staffs are wonderful and friendly. Central train station to Hotel 2 minutes walking distance.

Staff was fantastic - super friendly and helpful. Check-in and out was a breeze and breakfast was delicious. Location was great and rooms were large and very comfortable. Will definitely stay again.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. The rooms are very spacious including the bathrooms especially for Europe. The breakfast was great and lots of choices. It is in a great location; very short walk to Amsterdam Central station. Only issue (nothing against the hotel, just how Amsterdam is) is that it is hard to get a taxi or Uber from there. Have to walk a little ways to a pick up spot.

Will definitely stay here again. All staff are amazing specially Flo! Hotel is accessible to the Centraal station and everything is walking distance. Breakfast is also included and has plenty of options.

The property is at a very convenient location, just across from the train station. However, the property is not of a decent condition and the staff there, although friendly, is not offering the service of a 4-star hotel. We were given a room with a malfunctioning thermostat and we did not have heat at 13C. After speaking to the front desk, the staff brought us a mini heater. We asked the front desk to send maintenance to fix the thermostat the next morning but did not hear back from them in the afternoon. When we asked them again in the afternoon, we were told that they are fixing their central system and it will take a while. And the staff offered us the mini heater option again…. I would think that a room change is a reasonable option in this scenario. But we were simply not given the option until we insisted on a room change. And we also find the room to be not very clean. My daughters’ room has blood stain on towels and my room has dirty stuff on light switches and tables

Great service and location

What a fantastic hotel in the most wonderful location - right opposite the station and at the top of Damrak with everything you need within easy walking distance. The staff could not do enough for us and the room was fantastic - very large with an amazing bathroom and shower. Our only issue was that the tv did not work, but they sent someone to fix it straight away. There were one or two other minor issues with things not working in the room (such as the phone) but nothing too serious and overall I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Neighborhood around wasn’t good ,so many stores and close to the tram but I Didn’t like the crowds and vibes but the hotel itself was very nice , clean , good breakfast buffet, friendly staff

I think everything about this hotel was fantastic with one exception it did not have drawers. I’m an American, used to traveling in America, where hotels and motels have drawers in which to put clothing. That is the only, and I repeat negative comment. Nice, it was perfect

A fabulous hotel, well positioned a few minutes from the station. Despite this, it was very quiet at night. Facilities and amenities were great. Elvi checked us in and was so welcoming. Each member of staff during our stay were helpful also.
