Egypt is avery different experience and place to be but the property did make sure its residents were in a safe environment. The was nice and courteous.

I just stayed here for a few hours during a layover and loved this place so much! It was comfy, they had excellent customer service and was easy to get to. The only cons were I didn’t realize the shuttle for airport pickup had to be arranged days in advance- so I caught a taxi. Also the water in the room wasn’t very hot - I let them know this during checkout and they said they’d take it up with management. The only other thing is I believe you have to call to reserve your pet before hand and it is almost impossible to get through when you are calling from abroad.

I had a great stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great décor and crisp bed sheets. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with huge variety of options. The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. I wouldn’t have seen the best of Cairo without the help of their amazing navigator Abdo. He was helpful in every away!!! Thumbs up Abdo and thank you for your hospitality. Looking forward to visiting your hotel again soon.

Super safe. We got there very early and they easily checked us in. Great place and so beautiful. Transport shuttle was a plus and the guy was extremely nice.

The hotel is a wedding and reception venue on he grounds next to the pool, right outside our window. Does not make for a peaceful evening or ability to sleep.

This was my husband and I first visit to Cairo Egypt and we loved it. The renaissance is in a safe area and I loved how the added security coming into the hotel and through the front doors. I felt safe. Pool was gorgeous and the cuisine was great but different. Love they had America food to choose from as well. We will return to this hotel and fabulous city. Thank Egypt for the welcome.

Staying at this hotel was a good experience overall, but if you get a room at the back, I would advise against it. I was given a room at the back and all I could see from the window was a wall, which I didn't like because I prefer natural light coming into my room. When I asked to change the room, the man at reception was vulgar and said that this is a business hotel, so what was I going to do with a view. After much insistence, they eventually changed the room, but I didn't appreciate their attitude. Furthermore, if you need to print something, they will charge you an exorbitant amount for colour printing, as if you were asking them to print a portrait.

Fabulous hotel in new Cairo! The grounds of the hotel are very secure with security staff onsite doing regular checks so we felt very safe. The staff were delightful and would go out of their way to ensure we had anything we needed especially the navigators who booked our Nile dinner cruise and sorted all travel etc. The pool is amazing and even though there was construction underway during our visit there was minimal noise or disruption. The breakfast was incredible with a wide array of buffet options which also included hotel chefs doing on request omelettes, pancakes and other dishes cooked theatre style - excellent service. We were in the 6th floor which included the club lounge which again is an excellent service offering soft drinks for free throughout the day and happy hour alcoholic drinks and food each evening. The food in the Vintage Lounge was tasty and again the staff were attentive, helpful and cheery. The entire hotel is spotless and we could not rate the service any higher. Five stars!! It is a good distance away from the main sights in Cairo - the Pyramids, Nile etc so requires a long drive (traffic in Cairo is crazy and the driving is like fast and furious!) but it is worth it to stay at this hotel which is very near the airport and offers free transportation. In fact when we arrived the regular shuttle wasn’t running at the exact time and the hotel sorted us a car. Thank you to all the Renaissance Mirage team!

It was a family vacation in Cairo . My family thoroughly enjoyed the stay at the Mirage. The morning breakfast was hot, fresh & delicious . Rooms were super clean & the service was very good. Would definitely recommend if you go as a family.

Good amenities at the hotel. staff was very helpful. unfortunately there was some construction on the road in front that takes away a little bit from from experience but that’s temporary. overall a good stay.

liked the property. The only inconvenience was the ironer which was tightly secured to wires that were difficult to use. I struggled with it and my nails got chipped then had to do without it. Otherwise, everything else was super.
