Lovely hotel, located halfway between Lago station from MXP and Giovanni station en route to Lugano. 2 nights here, very clean and comfortable, staff friendly. Well located to find restaurants and explore Como. Sadly it rained the whole time, but would return it sun was guaranteed! Wonderful coffee shop below hotel for great coffee and cakes!

Great location above a nice piazza. Easy walking to major sites. The Juliet balcony overlooking the square was a surprise bonus. Closing the balcony door blocks the din from the restaurants below. Breakfast options were superb.

Compared to rooms in Paris and Geneva, the Albergo Firenze was a nice size room and comfortable. In spite of being in the center of town and on a weekend, our room was quiet since it was in the back of the hotel. Enjoyed the stay here and the location was convenient to the station and to the cove of Como.

Hotel is in the center of Como and pedestrian only. Perfect location for night life and tours. We had a small balcony facing the courtyard in which we could open windows. At night we closed the windows and had no noise. Beds are abit hard but breakfast was very good

We were travelling for a month and had a lot of luggage so parking was really important to us and we filtered our search by properties that had parking. Property advertised “parking available” which unfortunately means we don’t have parking but for a fee you can use a parking station nearby. We paid an additional £45 to park for the night which we hadn’t expected.
On the upside, the location was amazing, the city is beautiful and the hotel is in the centre of everything. We were very comfortable here. Lastly the staff were really kind and friendly.

Great hotel centrally located. Good breakfast, great coffee. Bus groups stay here so you are surrounded by large groups at breakfast. Room had window opening to courtyard which was nice for air. Lighting was quite dim so needed curtains and shutters opened if you wanted to read books. Staff friendly.

The entire staff was excellent from the time we arrived till the time we left. It is difficult to pick one individual since all of them were great. Many thanks to the entire team.

The room was fine, (large, nice bathroom, comfy mattresses) except for the large crib taking up valuable floor space in room with 3 twin beds. However, the evening was very noisy as it overlooks an otherwise lovely piazza serving dinner. The noise from the piazza continued until after 2am , making falling/staying asleep difficult. If you need a night's sleep after a long travel day, like ours, sleep somewhere else. Maybe being a Saturday night was the problem??

This hotel was delightfully comfortable. A perfect place to rest after long travel. Lovely nightlife, but quiet room. Walkable to two train stations and the ferry, plus all the beautiful streets.

Beautiful hotel right in the heart of Como. Walkable to boat ferry and to the quieter surrounding neighborhood. Highly recommend.

Pros: excellent location, central to train and water port, restaurants and bars.
Cons: no A/c in room we complained about it and nothing changed and we have a baby. WiFi was in an out. We were not provided extra towels and garbage was not taken out.

The hotel is located right in the town centre. The water front and the historic sites are within an easy walking distance. The flip side is the state of the hotel. The lift is too small and slow. The room we stayed was very dark as it was at the back of the hotel.

Conveniently situated hotel within easy walking distance of the cathedral and lake. Rooms spotless and comfortable. Breakfast very good. Would not hesitate to stay again if in Como.

We have been upgraded to 73 Boutique Hotel. Nicoleta at reception was amazing, very friendly and supportive! The small hotel is quite new, room and bed comfortable, air condition and shower water were also very good. Location perfect to the lake, restaurants, supermarkets and public transportation.We recommend certainly.

I would go back here at any time. Great place, convenient and staff was helpful. Especially the restaurant staff during our breakfast was friendly and hospitable.

Good spot right on the plaza in Como. Bed was a bit firm/uncomfortable. Shower was good, but you needed to mop up the bathroom floor afterwards. Windows kept out most noise, but be aware on the weekend nights the plaza is loud into the wee hours.

Very dated hotel with little to no amenities. The only time we interacted with staff was at check in and check out; both times they were very kind.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Lovely room and very clean. We had a room overlooking the piazza which was lovely - it could be noisy in the evenings but the windows have excellent double glazing and block out noise.

A very well located hotel, in the center of Como and offering an easy parking option 5 min walk from the hotel at a small fee. Staff was adorable and breakfast was the best we had during our trip. Everything was super tasty !
Our room had all the necessary amenities but bathroom might need some refresh.
