Bathroom had a hole in the ceiling and it was a bit tired looking. Had noisy people outside my door til quite late too.

Staff were very pleasant and fantastic to deal with, very accommodating with my last minute booking after having issues checking in another motel in the area. The room was nice and clean, with all the essentials provided. Would stay again 🙂

The rooms smelt really musty, I think it has water issues and is getting run down.

Very nice spot to stay being so close to beach.have stayed here several times over the years an this time I have noticed place is getting a bit tired an in some need off some TLC lot off broken cobble stones on walk ways an in room around spa pool windows were both cracked on our ranch slider,there had recently been some rough weather in Napier witch may have blown patio furniture into window?but unit nx door was cracked to.will definitely stay again but think it needs a spruce up😎

I liked the staff very approachable and went out of their way to help me with other accommodation that was accessible. I didn't like the odour in the room, due to me being a non smoker.

Sky sport would not go for the all blacks game.really mad about tjat, a few cosmetic things, security bolt on door dragged across the floor, bottom drawer wth plates wouldnt open unless you opened front door...but i would stay again..very very clean

Good size room

Booked at Beach Front but moved to Shoreline next door. Properties in area appeared either closed for winter or had long term residents. Propery was clean and tidy on entry but appeared a little tired

Very nice to stay

We were in Napier when Cyclone Gabrielle hit so it's difficult to judge the hotel. Room service was clearly disrupted by the storm and we had no power for most of the stay! However we thought the motel was in an excellent location, the staff we spoke to were very friendly and helpful. We would recommend any visitor to Napier to consider the Beach Front Motel for their accommodation - cyclones permitting!!!!

They were short of staff so room service was not done which was fine by us but we left our full rubbish bin outside to be changed but that was never done for the whole 2 days of our stay. Apart from that, everything was perfect

The room was perfectly adequate, clean, nice spa bath, comfortable bed, close to amenities

The area around was very nice. Easy to access and a quick walk into town. Unfortunately the room wasnt the cleaniest, and there were areas that were very dirty. For what they asked for in regards to price, i would say it wasnt exactly what i was expecting or hoping for. The room was more or less a big let down.

Perfect for our family to stay the night

The staff and management were helpful and friendly Both units were clean and tidy-good job cleaners We booked x2 family units- the blinds in the unit our daughter had the blinds were broken that separated the bedroom from the living area/other sleeping area In our unit the blinds in the bathroom and spa bath area were broken too The bathrooms are diffiently out dated and need major up-dating. Water pressure in the shower was great :-)

Motel dated but clean & tidy. We had 4 adults in our room which had a tiny kitchen & no lounge. It looks like a unit for 2 people was turned into a unit for 4 with 2 single beds where the lounge should be.

Lack of staff meant rooms were not serviced and things generally run down and poorly maintained and cleaned. Good location though.

The location of this hotel is ideal within walking distance of town and shopping and beach. The only thing I would say that they said they had staffing shortage which I can understand but this was given as an excuse for no milk was told to go to the dairy.

We had a lovely stay here over Christmas. It’s not the fanciest place I’ve stayed but the views were great (especially at sun rise!), great central location, good parking, beds comfortable, the service was good and it had all the amenities we needed. Only issue I had was the shower head spread quite wide so as a shorter person it wasn’t concentrated on me enough.

Every thing is good except the coaches were really dirty! We didn’t sit in! Nice rooms and environment! Got a spa spool in the room too!

Great location across from beach with good view of ocean from our room. Nice, very clean room. If possible, book a room away from the noisy exterior metal stairs.

The property was nicely situated opposite the beach and playgrounds. Unfortunately it was like someone started renovating and didn’t finish and decided to open. There was no service available as they were short staff. We understand for a day but for the whole four days we emptied our own bins etc which is fine but not when you are paying nearly $300 a night.

Requested downstairs room to help with my injury, check. I enjoyed the layout of the room. The lounge furniture was weird. Having 2 deck chairs inside. We also didn't realize the key was to turn on the lights we had to call the after hours number because we just sat in the dark lol. Overall the room was comfy. Loved getting out of bed in to the spa and watching tv. Was a close walk to town and restaurants. Loved being able to run across the road to see the sunrise. Would stay here again i loved Napier.
