I stayed there with my son for one night in August 2024 and it was perfect! I was properly greated and our room was upgraded to a cabin since there was availability. No charge! It was amazing! It was like having our own tiny house. It was small but had everything we needed. It was very clean and the sheets smelled good and fresh. It was on the main street where you could find restaurants and shops but far enough from all the action so it was quiet. I highly recommend it. I would go there again.

The property is well maintained and the views of the brook are lovely. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The location is good, not far from the village area. but the rooms are old, dated, and smell. The towels were old and stained, I bought new towels for my stay.

"Water saving" shower head saved water , all right - none came out! All hardware in dire need of upgrade. Worst money I ever spent.

For a motel really great. Only complaint was the room seemed a lil out dated. Still good for quick stay.

Brook was very relaxing

Fourth year booking with this location and I’m never disappointed. If you’re okay with a little bit of a walk to get down to the village it is perfect. Babbling broom can be heard from cabins. Porches on the cabins plus trees provide a perfect spot even on a hot day to relax. Clean towels provided daily if needed and staff is always friendly. Small community kitchen for people to cook and beautiful pool.

Excellent value, large rooms next to a beautiful little river. Definitely try to get one of the rooms next to the little river, The rooms have back doors that lead out to a small deck area perfect for relaxing next to the river. Separately, it only took us 15 minutes to walk to the downtown area

Fun girls weekend.

The Brookside is always a satisfying stay. It's quaint and charming as well as quiet and relaxing. The pool is nice and the stream running through the property is pleasant. We always stay in a cozy cabin set back from the main grounds. The room is small with a small bathroom but still plenty comfy. It's a short drive or a long walk into town depending on how you feel. We like the fact that it's away from the noise and hub-bub of the Village.

The flowing stream behind the motel was very beautiful and relaxing.

Nice to be able to go out back and sit by stream. Close to Lake George and Great Escape.

The stay was okay. The carpet was stained and terrible. It smelled. The bath was clean and great. Linens were clean. Okay place needs some TLC. Check in was great.

Cabin was clean. Heater and air conditioner both worked. Temps were clise to 80 during the day, and dropped to 40 at night. I ended up using both.

Great little outlet by the brook. Cute little cabin.

Very nice Motel with amenities that offer a camping experience outside of your room. Fire place options picnic tables and bbq’s are available to use along with their clean pool. We stayed in a cabin they are back from the main road over a tiny bridge to get to. The outside is lite up well at night with festive lighting. There is a brook that goes through the property you can hear the water running as you relax. Location is extremely convenient close to town and an easy on off the interstate Location. We wanted something different than a regular Hotel room and this place was it! Family of four having fun in Lake George.

Overall, for the price and the fact that it is a motel, this place wasn't awful. The room was shabby but clean. For us, the beds were the worst part. They were very uncomfortable. I would bring a mattress topper or skip staying here if you have back problems. The pool was fun and clean. Staff were nice. I asked for more pillows, and they accommodated quickly. There are tons of amazing places to eat within a 15 min drive. The housekeeping staff that came in the room while we were out didn't clean anything and just pulled the comforter back up on the bed without actually making the bed. To this fact though, we would be fine if they didn't come in and clean until we left so this wasn't a big deal for us. Would consider staying again if they updated their mattresses.

The brook in the back of our room was a cool feature.

Booked for a birthday weekend in Lake George.. Ended up being woken at 3am by the sounds of animals scratching and fighting in the walls and under the tub in Bathroom, we are not talking just small mice, Like Racoon or larger. Video taped for the owner, but he refused to listen too it and didn't care.. He did offer to move us to another room.. No Chance.. We had been up since 3am and had too wait until the office opened to discuss this issue. This was the biggest issue, but the carpets were damp and the place pretty old. There was a gap under the door so the bugs just came right in.. That we may have been able too deal with , the the animal fights in the walls and the scratching was just way too much too handle. Weekend ruined and had too drive back home.. Never Again.

Room is just what we needed. Clean & comfortable. Loved the shower very therapeutic. Had a refrigerator we didn’t expect so that was nice. Parking right in front of room. No hairdryer but thankfully I brought one. I could have asked at the office but no need. Bed is comfortable. All is well

This was a good stay for a few nights at a good price. Showing it's age, but comfortable and served the purpose. Very nostalgic.

Inexpensive, clean. The cabin was a throw back to a 1950's road side motel with the yellow front porch light and wall mounted air conditioner. bathroom was clean and updated shower. For the older and taller population, taller toilets would be a plus.
