Absolutely beautiful place to stay

The Mercure Legian is one of my “go back to” hotels even when so try other hotels, it’s still my favourite. It is not over priced, I enjoy the pool selection and the tranquility and it’s still close to walk to the beach and shops and eateries. The staff are lovely and the rooms are clean and I have the best sleep when I stay there and breakfast is also good value. I’ll definitely be back because it’s consistently one of the best value hotels in Legian for that little bit of luxury but not over the top.

Second time staying here. The staff are helpful and friendly, rooms are clean and a good size. Breakfast was ok. Fantastic location.

The pools were overcrowded and the rooftop pool was unclean

Stayed at Mecure Legian for 12 nights on our honeymoon trip, the hotel had friendly staff was clean and helpful theyre close to shops a short walk to the beach and close to bars and restaurants. A great central base to explore from. They have daily tour and taxi booking in the lobby who are just as friendly they organised a private driver for one of the excursions and we was so impressed we asked for Rai for anything we booked through them. The breakfast was provided free with our booking they presented a buffet with some western style foods some local and an indian station.

Was treated like a criminal as we couldn’t order a coffee as we were $5 over our limit even though they keep a credit card hold but I chose to use a cash limit. Asked for a different room over pool would pay extra they showed us a room that absolutely smelt of cigarettes and supposed to be non smoking room. Breakfast buffet not replenished quickly waited for more food. Bees in the jam flies and Bees everywhere. Wanted to $30 each way to airport costs $5 on Gojek

Extremely amazed with all Staff, particularly received great customer service from “Nia”, she greatly looked after us all days we had our breakfast and help my 4 year old fussy eater, I cannot really thank her enough for immediate efforts, getting fresh hot food from the kitchen, Massive Thank you I will certainly be back once I am in bali next….

Good service

We didn't like our room position. 5 floor over looking what looked like a rubbish tip. Rooster noise all day. No light on the balcony. Not enough shelving in the room. Breakfast was just ok. We wouldn't stay again. In saying that we found the staff to be lovely.

Great location in between Kuta and Seminyak as well as close to the beach. Breakfast was okay - could have had more variety and could be waiting up to 20 mins for eggs some mornings. Rooms were basic but staff were friendly. The rooftop pool was nice and drink options for poolside were good. Would definitely stay again

This hotel’s in the perfect location but there is no special treatment at all , none of the usually things you get with staying at a hotel . Bathroom amenities are minimal, No shower caps robes . Staff are beautiful but they don’t show you to your room when you arrive and the cost of eating there is very expensive. A small chips was over 10.00 au dollars

The hotel staff are so friendly, the family room was great, air con worked well. There was a smell in the bathroom but they sorted it when asked. The area is very tourist heavy, the beach is fantastic and within walking distance.

No balcony

The staff done a great job, housekeeping and daily clean was generally late afternoon, but generally everything was acceptable

Location in Legian was good - however the trade-off is right near a busy road therefore plenty of traffic. Rooms could have been much cleaner. However, when we take into consideration value for money then this hotel was fine.

Really lovely hotel. Nice, well equipped rooms, good facilities and really nice restaurant for breakfast and other meals. I would happily stay again.

We had a wonderful holiday in Bali. Mercure Legian is at a very optimal location between Kuta, Legian and Seminyak beaches. The hotel itself was pleasant and the staff cordial. The reason for my average rating is the overall experience. Nothing untoward that makes me not like the hotel, but it was just one unfortunate occurrence over another. The Buffet breakfast was great, however our request to have breakfast a day early (since we'd landed at 6 am in Bali and couldn't check in till 2 pm) was refused. This despite us confirming that we would actually be checking out early morning and thus skipping a day's breakfast that we'd paid for. The hotel offered to pack us some breakfast in the night. (Who has breakfast at 9 pm?) Anyways, the hotel was kind enough to give us an early check in, so I think they try to make up. Then there was the incident of the mold and fly during breakfast (that's all I'll say). I'm not being harsh but it did ruin the mood and dampen the spirit a little bit. They gave us one complimentary drink at the pool. So I guess they tried. We still enjoyed Bali, I'd probably spend a little more for a 5 star hotel next time.

We’ve been to Bali a number of times, the staff are always the best part of the stay, always friendly and helpful. The Mercure was nice but is showing its age, it needs a bit of work, A/C wasn’t as consistent as we would have liked and noise from neighbouring properties was an issue as was the rooster/s that didn’t seem to know what time of day it was. Overall, an enjoyable time.

You are basically paying for the location. There are other hotels in close proximity, for a fraction of the cost, with similar rooms. Staff were always seen to be "cleaning" but the same piece of rubbish was in the corridor for over 4 days of my stay. Additionaly, when the room was serviced, the toilet wasnt cleaned. Im ok with that, but if youre going to do that, have a toilet brush in the rooms that guest can use. And then when they were "cleaned" they werent done properly either. I took my daughter to one of the pools, and every time I put her floaties on her, staff would tell me I needed to go in the pool with her, she wasnt allowed in by herself. At no point did I let her in the pool by herself, or show any indication that I would. And it was the same staff, so they knew I had been told. Besides that, staff were really nice. Food and beverages were decent. Not too overpriced. Would stay again if the cost was a bit less.

Location is near restaurants and shops and you are 10 minutes walk away from Katu beach. Staff was very friendly, which made the stay more memorable.

The property was clean and conveniently located near shops and restaurants. There is a funny drain smell in the rooms even though everything looks clean

We had a room with a balcony which was on the corner of the hotel and it was very noisy. The sliding door wasn't very secure. When it was locked you could still push the door and. We could here the scooters all night and early morning. We asked to change rooms but they were booked out.

located in the heart of city, very nice option for restaurants, currency exchange, local market and tattoo studio in a walk able distance Legian beach is at 10 minute walk staff is very nice and helping, also allows early check in on request. very much enjoyed our stay at Mercure.

Good location. Lots of convenience strores nearby…but the road is very busy during day time.

I thought the staff were lovely the hotel was nice for the price but the rooms very noisy from traffic but the big let down was the breakfast everything was cold and tasted average we ended up have breakfast elsewhere everyday costing as a lot extra
