Cheap and clean. Fantastic cooking facilities and the kitchen was unbelievably clean

Friendly staff, central location. Lots of thoughts in regards to environment and reduction of wastage. Problem is the late check in, considering that some people are returning from a 100km walk and are keen to have a shower and drop their bags.

Cost place for a short stay. Bathroom area woukd need a revamp.

Apollo Bay is a very good location for Great Ocean Road in both ways, but the YHA is a simple and not cheap accomodation

check-in is easy and there are many parking space around the hostel and near the restaurants in 3 mins walk and the room is clean and big for us, all experience is good

Its ok to stay 1 night. Room facility is quite simple, just 2 beds and 2 chairs.

Exquisite roof terrace from which one could spot a koala in a neighbouring tree

Exactly what we needed, close to main street, clean & comfy room, nothing fancy & eco-friendly which is always a bonus!

Big double room with balcony. Plenty of parking on site and on the street. Cosy lounges, one per floor, for relaxing in the evening. We had a lovely log fire in the spring. Big, modern kitchen and love the eco-friendly vibe. Look out for free food in the fridge from old guests. Few bars and restaurants to walk to :-)

Very clean hostel run in an incredibly eco-friendly way. Staff were friendly and helpful - let us check in early. Perfect place to stop for Great Ocean Rd tour.

The bathrooms were dirty, the bed was uncomfortable and the guy at check in was rude.

We had an enjoyable stay here. Its great to see the initiatives they are undertaking as an eco-friendly hostel. Apollo Bay is a lovely little town.

The location is great and the accommodation is clean and well equipped with kitchenware.
