Friendly staff

We were traveling a long distance to get to the hotel on a holiday weekend. The hotel called us to see if we were still coming rather than give our room away. So thankful.

We were in the area for a stop on our 4 day road trip. This area is small & quaint and the chain motels have very high rates. This little gem is an updated older motel in very good repair. There was a walk in shower which my hubby needed. The room was clean and in good repair. The bedding and towels were nice. Toilitries were provided. It was quiet, peaceful. There is not a pool. There is coffee available in the lobby, but no breakfast. The gentleman who check us in was friendly and cordial. He also checked us out the next morning. This is a great place for an overnight stay when in the area...we recommend.

my only complaint was the aluminum box the mattress sat on and every time I sat on the bed in would “thunder” (metal flexing). Fortunately there was a thunder storm overnight and my neighbors probably dismissed the sound as that….. the room & amenities were very good for the price. Good value.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, with the place has kept up with maintenance of the building and room. I would definitely stay there again.

I walked to town in the morning to grab a coffee. Exactly a mile one way. Nice location and best price in the area.

It's an older privately owned motel that's in great shape people are friendly the rooms were clean and it's probably one of the best sleeps I've had in two weeks.

Small independent hotel. Looks recently refurbished. Clean and one mile to city center. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

This is a very old motel that was poorly upgraded.

Water drained very slowly in the sinks and toilet. Caulking around toilet and tub was amateurish at best. Very unprofessional. Bathroom door was very squeaky.

The room was clean and conveniently located to nearby beaches. Traveled with my spouse and 2 young children, so had a 2 Queens room. Adequate space for everyone and the kids were happy with the cable selection as they quieted down for bed.

Customer service was decent, room was filthy!

Hotel staff is always great. Have stayed here four times over the last few years. Very quiet and good location. Does need an upgrade in rooms. Would stay again!

It’s an older property and as such needs some updating. It could use some new paint, carpets and bed coverings. That said the place was clean. Everything worked. The manager (owner) was polite. Nothing bad to say.

Staff helpful and friendly. Room was clean with a great a/c unit!

Property was fairly well maintained but not sure why mgmt got rid of the pool? Not worth price of $130 per night, more like $80. Place to sleep and room was clean.
