I have repeately stayed at the hotel when I have visited Appalachicola over the years. I always feel like I am staying with family. The husband and wife owners are refreshing to visit with and I always enjoy seeing them. Thank you for another great stay. Nanc

We were traveling a long distance to get to the hotel on a holiday weekend. The hotel called us to see if we were still coming rather than give our room away. So thankful.

We were in the area for a stop on our 4 day road trip. This area is small & quaint and the chain motels have very high rates. This little gem is an updated older motel in very good repair. There was a walk in shower which my hubby needed. The room was clean and in good repair. The bedding and towels were nice. Toilitries were provided. It was quiet, peaceful. There is not a pool. There is coffee available in the lobby, but no breakfast. The gentleman who check us in was friendly and cordial. He also checked us out the next morning. This is a great place for an overnight stay when in the area...we recommend.

my only complaint was the aluminum box the mattress sat on and every time I sat on the bed in would “thunder” (metal flexing). Fortunately there was a thunder storm overnight and my neighbors probably dismissed the sound as that….. the room & amenities were very good for the price. Good value.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, with the place has kept up with maintenance of the building and room. I would definitely stay there again.

It was a little farther out of town than I thought it would be. Still convenient but not really walkable to town.

It's an older privately owned motel that's in great shape people are friendly the rooms were clean and it's probably one of the best sleeps I've had in two weeks.
