This is a hidden gem! With all the many places we could’ve stayed, Moseley was perfect! Walkable to restaurants and shopping. The house is beautiful, the bedding and linens were perfection! The room was VERY spacious and clean! We stayed in room 6 in the Inn and had a huge private balcony. One of the greatest perks of staying IN the Inn was room service breakfast. We ordered the night before with our desired time of delivery and it was all cooked to perfection, including crisp bacon and the fresh fruit was delicious! Check in / out was easy, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend! Great hospitality Moseley!

Retro facility with classic charm. Within walking distance to the downtown business district. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Would definitely stay there again.

What a wonderful stay! I booked last minute based on prior reviews and Moseley Cottage did not disappoint. I had a king room in the motel section. I was able to check in early without issue around 12:30, as housekeeping staff was finishing up. They were very friendly as well as front desk. The unit was very clean and welcoming. The grounds were in beautiful shape and the landscaping picturesque. The best part was the proximity to Main street with all the shops and restaurants. The motel is tucked away off a side street but 30 seconds on foot to the main town. You could never tell, the street was peaceful and quiet. You are also able to gain entry to Acadia with relative ease, as the park is just miles away. Would highly recommend and stay here again!

I loved the location, plus the room was spacious and comfortable. Check-in was easy and parking was very convenient. I was particularly impressed with the maid service, which was outstanding!

Amazing location for everything you need to do and it was clean and quiet! Would definitely recommend staying here!

The B&B itself was very cute and comfortable. What we didn’t like was the lack of security. The front door of the house remained unlocked overnight and we were unable to lock our porch door for our room “Bubbles”. It was on the 2nd floor but close to the garage - someone could access if they really wanted to. When we requested the key the desk clerk said she would check into it but never did

Great location in Bar Harbor, walking distance to all the good stuff! Only couple of downsides: the AC unit in the room struggled mightily to keep the temperature below 79 degrees (granted, it was hot out), so most of the time it was pretty warm in the room. And there’s no elevator, which they mention in the listing, but climbing those stairs to the 3rd floor took some work.
All in all, it was a great place in a great location. Really enjoyed it.

If you are in the main building rooms should be ok; if you’ll have one in the second building is terrible. Room is very small with very old furniture, it is like a motel on a highway. Roughly 300 dollars for this room is unjustified: the room was so poor that I didn’t even sleep there and lost the money.Place is overrated

The inn itself was beautiful from what we saw. The motel side of things, it was clean and spacious. The parking was a bit tight but it is Bar Harbor. We would stay again but possibly at the inn instead.

It is in a great location to walk to everything in Bar Harbor. The motel room was average and smelled a little musty. However it had great areas to sit outside when hanging around the property.

Rooms in the motel part are very simple. Clean but borderline to simple with an old carpet, simple ceilings, uncoordinated very simple furniture . Bed is comfortable. Hotel lies on a very cozy street.

The inn is attractive. The gardens are pretty and well kept.
The man who checked us in did not bother with niceties such as Welcome! My husband and I are both in our mid 70s. He has a foot injury and is using a cane. I carried our bag upstairs. No offer of assistance was proffered.
There is a formal parlor that is closed to guests from 8pm until 9am. Since no children are allowed in the inn we found this unusual.

Our stay was perfect! Great location! It was close enough to all of the activity but peaceful when you returned to the Inn. The breakfast each morning was fresh and delivered to our door.

Absolutely charming place in a convenient but quiet spot. We had the Jordan Pond room, which included a private balcony and was perfect for a romantic couple on honeymoon. Breakfasts are delicious and the whole place is lovely. This is a step above typical bed and breakfast spots.

We stayed in the motel section of the building. It was very close to the downtown area and we walked to get our meals and shop. The breakfast was only included if you stayed at the inn but they had cookies and coffee available throughout the day.
