The location was the best thing about this property. The room we started 28 was smelling of dust. It was very difficult to sleep. The room AC was making lot of sound. We had to turn it off. The beds were uncomfortable to sleep. Overall very poor arrangement compared to the price.

It was a great place to stay - hope to be back soon. It was clean and updated. It was a perfect location as well!

I found the rooms extremely clean and comfortable. Nice to be able to sit outside in front of our room. Dining room food was fabulous and our waitress judy was so nice and gave is some interesting history about the Inn Would recommend highly

Internet was terrible - keeps on disconnecting and very slow. Beds were comfy, and a good vibe.

We stayed here 46 years ago on our honeymoon and were pleasantly surprised to find it hasn’t changed in its historic look and feel. Love it

We stayed next to the house in a motel that had a porch where one could sit outside. The wifi was spotty and the TV buffered. Did not find a refrigerator in the small room. It was fine for a one night stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the Telegraph House. Unfortunately our room was quite small with no coffee maker or fridge. Staff did help out by providing a kettle. Great location and staff were great.

Property is within walking distance of pretty much everything you want to see or experience. AC unit was very noisy and cut in and out during the night, and the bed was quite uncomfortable.

Went for a weekend. Only needed a room for sleeping. Older, historic building right in the heart of Baddeck. Recently renovated rooms. Ours was a very small room in the main building with an even smaller bathroom, very few extras like a phone or in room clock and only 2 pillows on the bed. Issue with the tv working, but someone had it corrected within 30 minutes of me bringing it to the front desks attention. Very bright and clean room with a nice partial view of the lakes. Didn’t have a chance to eat at their restaurant so I cannot comment on that. Overall, a very good place, would recommend.

Stayed in the motel part of the property. The house would have been more interesting.

The room was beautiful, efficient, clean. The dining room was excellent. The verandah was lovely.

While we initially thought this historic property might be charming, it is just old and in need of serious renovation. We stayed in a one-story room up the hill from the older, historic home. It was sparsely decorated and had a very musty smell. Fortunately, we had a portable AC unit in the room to make the temp bearable. Bathroom was small and although the window was frosted, a shade on the window would have been appreciated. Our friends stayed in the historic home and there was no AC unit in their room. Do your research before booking here. There seemed to be several other nicer places to stay.

Nice but could use a little updating. Our screens were ripped and mosquitoes got in, but otherwise it was comfortable and great location.

It reminds me of the quaint Inns in Vermont. Everything was excellent and I had a delightful dinner in The Cable Room restaurant. Scallops were superb. Dessert to die for. A great place to stay in Baddeck.

We missed the ferry from pei delaying arrival. Ownership was over accommodating and made the process easy true gem of cb!

Telegraph House is exactly what I was looking for for me and my partner on our first visit together to Nova Scotia. The people were helpful, friendly, and warm, and the accessibility to local restaurants and waterfront. I would recommend Telegraph House to anyone visiting Baddeck and would certainly return myself!

It was a lot of stairs but a good stay

We were delighted to find that the restaurant opened on the days of our arrival so we booked dinner and were treated to a first class meal and wonderful ambiance. The unit was really clean and comfortable. A great choice before heading home! Jordana & Lois

Stayed here for 2 nights with a 2 year old toddler. The room was very clean - better than what a star hotel can provide. The property is located right at the center of Baddeck, with lots of dining options within walkable distance.

Super cool original hotel and telegraph house. Still owed and run by the original family. Clean. Comfy. We stayed in the original hotel part. Beautiful.
