Very nice recommended

A very friendly place. Staff helpful and quickly resolved a problem with the heating in our room. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent. Breakfast was very good - especially my pancakes!

Great pub,restaurant with comfortable accommodation, friendly helpful staff, the pub has a great selection of beers & lagers the restaurant has a good menu with great food. As they are right on tha A140 can be noisy at night unless you get a room at the rear. Highly recommended

Fantastic find! Wonderful 17th century building, room was split level family room, very big and super clean. Staff were absolutely brilliant and the food/pub/bar superb!

Nice service, and did have a good nights sleep, but the bathroom was not very clean and the entire building smelled pretty badly when we arrived. Couldn’t really detect what was causing it so could have been nearby farming which can’t be helped! The bathroom needs to be updated cause everything was corroded or stained and the shower was leaking after use. My wife noticed a sticker from a bar of soap had been stuck to the tiles and not removed. Bit disappointing

We arrived about 9.30 on a Friday evening and were looking forward to a drink in the bar but were told they were closing which was disapointing for a Friday night. When we got in our room we were a little disapointed with the cleanliness in places, for example, wrappers on the floor by the bed so hoovering had not been done very well , We then looked to have a cup of coffee and cups were dirty so had to go down and ask for them to be changed. The wifi was non-existent which in todays world is unacceptable . On a positive the bed was very comfortable and breakfast was very nice and the service given by our waitress,Vicky, was excellent ! She saved the day !

Beautiful Coaching Inn with lots of character, owners and staff are lovely, food was delicious , this was our 3rd stay and can't wait to go back again .

The room was lovely and clean, also good tea and coffee facilities. We come to stay here every year as the staff are very friendly and the breakfast is amazing also the dinners you have a good choice.

This was our second stay at the old ram coaching inn. Again the food was amazing. Possibly the best full English at breakfast I’ve ever eaten. Our room was lovely and had a fan to keep us cool. A very comfortable bed too.

A traditional coach house on a busy thoroughfare between Norwich and Ipswich. Decor is a little tired in places but the accomodation is in good shape. Food was excellent as was service, polite and helpful. Ruined a little by a pile of towels and bedcovers left on the floor in the corner of my room. A mistake, these happen but it took the shine off a little.

Absolutely no complaints from us. Maybe a bit pricey for what it is, but it was Holiday Weekend so understandable. A bit 'out of the way' even though on a main road, so a car is an absolute must. The restaurant was OK, and breakfast was good when it eventually arrived after what was way too long a wait. Probably the best description would be a Beefeater or Harvester with nice, comfortable and good bedrooms. Yes....We'd stay there again.

Lovely bright & cheerful staff . Very helpful even had emergency travel razors which my husband needed. Menu fir evening meal some things sold out plenty of choices though. We had a room at front of the pub with four poster bed & the road noise was not a problem. Breakfast provided was probably the best we have had in a long while & all locally sourced.

Fantastic one night stay, room was beautiful, clean and tidy with a four poster bed which was very comfortable. The food in the restaurant was absolutely wonderful as was the accompanying service.
