I booked club room for two persons with two twin beds and with breakfast included for 2 persons. Apparently Hotels.com sent Grand Hyatt confirmation for only one breakfast included. I showed the hotel staff the receipt from Hotels.com which said “breakfast included” but without the exact wording from the original room description. I find this to be a significant issue on Hotels.com - ie, the receipts which are issued do not show the same level of detail of what you are buying on the website. In the end, the Hyatt staff agreed to provide two breakfasts but not after much discussion. This hassle could be avoided if hotels.com issued more detailed receipts of what its customers are paying for.

The property is in a very convenient location. Staff are very friendly. Will stay again if go back to Chengdu

Nice hotel in walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. There were things I wasn’t comfortable seeing. Even though there were controls on how you got to rooms. Strange women would jump on elevator at night with out room key. No one at hotel to control this.

The view from this hotel is very nice, and the facilities are wuite good.

Superb hotel all around. Great location. Next to several pedestrian shopping streets. Close to subway stop. Super friendly staff. Wonderful buffet for breakfast. For guests with Executive Lounge access, the evening cocktail can be a great dinner substitute, making it a great value. Will highly recommend!

Beautiful hotel with clean and spacious rooms. Had a big window overlooking the main shopping area of Chengdu. The design of the room is very nice, I especially enjoyed the blinds that could be operated from bed, letting the morning lights in. As well as the minimalist Asian decor. Staff is excellent, and the food is tasty. Location is excellent, very close to public transport and smack in the middle of the main shopping streets.

I am a frequent business traveler and take vacation trips as often as possible. I have been to exotic locations with private pool and villa type rooms and rarely praise about a hotel. I booked Grand Hyatt Chengdu mainly for the location and convenience but surprisingly this hotel exceeded my expectation. Hotel staff was well trained and friendly. For a downtown hotel the room was a good size. The bath room has a big shower and a nice bath tub. Very relaxing every morning and before sleep for a nice dip in the tub. Breakfast was full of selection and will guarantee mess up your diet. Fitness room has state of the art equipment. Overall I was very pleased and if have another biz trip will definitely come back to this hotel.

We have a pleasant stay. Room is spacious with nice buffet breakfast. Hotel staff are helpful and polite. Hotel is in great location, central to most tourist spot.

Loved the Grand Hyatt Chengdu! Stayed here for business - felt very comfortable and at home - staff were extremely attentive and welcoming. While we did not want to leave the hotel, the surrounding area and location was also a great base for Chengdu. Would thoroughly recommend and return when possible.

Other than the pandas and the Sichuan food, the Grand Hyatt was easily one of the best parts of our trip to Chengdu. First of all, the hotel just opened in early 2016. Everything feels clean and almost new. More importantly, the service was so good, it had us scratching our heads. The staff were full of smiles, friendly, responsive and helpful. They didn't always have the best or most accurate advice so I would double check things, but they always tried hard. We got a Grand Suite with two twin beds. Note that these were twin beds and not the two bigger full beds you sometimes find at other hotels. Room was huge and comfortable. Everything still felt new and worked perfectly. Toilet did not work well but minor detail. We only ate the the breakfast buffet, but the noodles were excellent. They had a Dan Dan Noodle that was better than most of the local restaurants we tried. Great for business or family. Highly recommended. There wasn't a single thing we were unappy about with our stay at the Grand Hyatt in Chengdu.
