Our family stayed at Holiday Inn Express while attending the Country for Carolina concert. The hotel staff was friendly and check in was a breeze. Aside from a dirty lampshade and some mildew around our shower, the rooms were immaculate. We would stay here again.

I was charged 11.00 per day to park at this hotel. It was not in a downtown area and had a parking lot attached to the hotel. No reason to charge extra other than to rip off the public. The rude person at the front desk just said it was billed by a third party vender. Look at this hotel on a map.

My only negative is that you have to pay for parking on their own property. Its not like having to pay for parking in a deck owned by a private entity. Anything they can do to squeeze more $$ out of you.

I guess everyone is getting greedy and money hungry. When I arrived to this hotel is when I found out that I had to also pay for parking. Now if it were located in the city or something like that, then I understand. I would actually expect it. But for a property like this is ridiculous. At least post it on the website so people know. It’s definitely not about the money at all. Once every 2 months I go to a hotel with my little one to just have a fun night out. If it weren’t for her being so excited and me not wanting to ruin things for her I would have left.
One of the reasons I chose this location was because it had an indoor pool. I would never go back in that pool again. It was so small and looked and felt dirty. There was hair floating all in it.
The next morning my daughter and I had little red marks that I am sure came from bedbugs. There was no point in saying anything because I doubt anything would have been done. The room had a bad smell.

I had to ask for black tea, which was obtained from a cupboard by an employee, and then offered to me. I told her that she should leave some out for other guests.
Some people don't understand that not everyone drinks coffee. I have had this experience in other hotels. Herbal tea, green tea and black tea are different from each other. All should be available.

When I arrive to the property with check in reservation 3 day before, I showed up and they told me they don’t have rooms available.

I reserved a room because my flight was cancelled and it was last minute. When checking in I asked for a late checkout because my kids and I did not have anywhere to go before our 6:25pm flight. I was told because I was an IHG member I could get. 2:00pm checkout and extremely grateful. However the next day I was then asked four different times, what time I was checking out. 1 knock at the door, then a phone call from the front desk, then a cleaning gal just walking into our room, and last when I went down to ask about airport shuttle times. With each time we he staff was more rude. Communication should have been better.
