Stayed overnight on our way to Gannsbai, wish we allowed more time to check out the surrounding area. Decent price. Couldn't figure out how to turn on the lights, but the desk side lights were adequate.

I asked 5 times for someone to fix the TV in my room and it was never done. The staff were not very friendly when I would ask a question or directions to somewhere. I also got an upset stomach from eating in the market place.

We booked in a 8 sleeper Dorm we found other ladies there, the place was not so clean even the bed I was shown to sleep on looked like someone had slept on it, dust all over the place we even asked them to come and clean the place in the morning they agreed but only to find that when we arrived at night it was not cleaned at all.

We had an awesome one night stay at Mojo Hotel. The loft 3/4 sleeper units are great. The roof of the loft is low, so tall people can bump their heads on the roof beams. These units have a balcony. The 2 sleeper units have no windows. Mojo Market has great vibes

The area is great. Not a place to stay for those who need quiet as the market is rather loud below. The room we stayed at was awkwardly sized, the loft had a large beam we had to duck below to get to one of the beds, which can be fun but also not very accessible. The shower tub did not drain very fast. Room service did not end up cleaning our room at all for the two night stay. Nevertheless the stay was good enough for us.

I didn't check in, due to public taxi violence i couldn't leave my house. Expedia and Mojo hotel werd not helpful with making changes to my booking to another day. I would not know how the property look like if i didn't check in So i lost my money, and did not even check in. It is sad and very disappointing.

One has to be prepared that the hotel is in the party district with loud noise. We checked in and our room was not ready. We were given a different room and I thought fine, that works. However, the next morning we were told that we have to move again because "we didn't have the right room". Not optimal since we booked 2 nights so we wouldn't have to move. Anyway, we took the new room, but it had no remote control for the a/c. They were going to take care of it. It ended up with me running around at midnight trying to get someone to turn on the ac for us. I was told that they had no more remotes and we would have to sleep in brutal heat, and the 0 rating was a given. 15 minutes later they knocked on the door and supplied a remote that we could use to turn on the ac which worked, but we could

Hotel is very good because it is part of a market where u can eat and watch a band.... Views are amazing very clean hotel. A few hiccups is there no breakfast and no water in the rooms no telephone to phone receptionist.... Also the blinds were broken in bathroom.... But still very clean and a lot to do and see at the market down stairs

When we arrived after spending 8 hours on the road we were helped by a volunteer that did not know how to issue the keycard to our room. The first two rooms could not open. So twenty minutes later we were put into a third room. Then the porter battled to get the tv to work. I eventually asked hom to please leave the room as I was very tired. The next dat another person cam to see what the problem was and after about thirty minutes only two channels worked YOUTUBE and Netflix. No SABC or sport channels. We could not sleep from Saturday night till 5am on Sunday as guests were screening and shouting talking loud. I did not want to get into any disputes with anyone so we just bit the bullet. When I complained and asked the front desk about the noise he said there’s nothing he could do as these guests booked online. Of all my years on the road this was definitely my worst ever experience. Hope to be my last.

Mojo Hotel is in a perfect location. It's close to all major attractions. My hotel room was super clean and the staff were friendly. It was super peaceful to sleep at night. The only noise I heard was the occasional wind and seagulls flying about. My only suggestion for the hotel is to make sure cleaning staff are following proper sanitization and procedures when cleaning the rooms. I arrived on the second day to find every single thing I threw in the trash can dumped into the toilet. I can't imagine that being good for the hotels plumbing situation.

Firstly, they placed us in a wheelchairs room, the shower had no door to close it, making the whole bathroom wet. The AC of the room was not working , we asked 3 times for them to fix it, nobody did anything. After the 4th time asking, Surprise, a guy that was working alone at a busy night helped us and replaced us in another room, thank you Surprise. And thats not all of it, there was more, terrible stay. See you never Mojo!

Super location with lots going on nearby. Live music & great vibe in the market & bars below. Easy access to beach and the city. Surprisingly quiet at night with all the bars below. Found it to be really good value for money and a hot tip is Brads grill over the street which does the best steaks!

The hotel is in a nice location, central to many shops/restaurants and a few minute walk to the beach.The hotel doesn’t have normal TV, but instead had Netflix and Amazon, and also the fastest WiFi I have experienced in a hotel (70mbps). The TV is mounted really high above the door which is fine while laying down but impractical in any other way.The room was a cube with no light (although a frosted glass with a blind letting in some light from the room adjacent if they have their curtains open can be seen (but I found this odd to be able to see silhouettes of other people so left the blind down).148 our room stank of sewers, every time we walked back in we could smell it but got used to it after a short while in the room.On our 2nd night, a group of about 50 students and their teachers arrived and from about 8pm to nearly midnight all we could hear was shouting, chanting, banging on doors. I asked them to be quiet, complained to reception 3 times, but nothing changed for the better, so the next morning I found out they would be there again so left the hotel early and found another which was much more peaceful.Such a shame that it ruined our stay, if only the teachers and the hotel staff could have kept control, it felt more like a hostel than a hotel...

The Wi-Fi sometimes was not working inside my room, but the cleaning was really nice and the staff was extremely friendly
