Not good for a 5 star resort...
Checked in and went to my room, tired from the long flight, I unpacked all my bags, crazy to take shower and relax, I turn the AC on and the heating is not working, called front desk and they send a technician to fix it, after over an hour he cant make it work, I ask him to leave cause I was really tired and wanted to take a shower and rest.
Later on the front desk calls me and offer another room just sleep the night, I had to pack all my bags back....
Next day went to play the resort golf course, green fee was way higher from what is advertised on their website ! They said that now the golf course is separeted from the hotel and has nothing to do with their advertisement....
Last drop of the full glass... I go to the concierge and ask for a transportation to the airport ( 15min drive ) the person siting at the concierge desk says, " Im nit the concierge, go to entrance of the hotel and ask the valet for the transportation... Ask the valet and he says it cost US$70 !!!! ( Uber was US$12 ) !!
It was very clear that they were making money surcharging third-party transportation service.

This is our second time saying here. Even though it’s a bit far from all the attractions in Cairo, it is quiet, safe, and extremely comfortable.
The staff is incredible, the food is amazing, and it’s the only place we stay when coming to Egypt. It is a bit pricey but it’s worth every penny. We look forward to returning!

It was an amazing vacation at the Westin golf resort in Cairo.
The staff there were amazing and very welcoming. To name a few Marc at the reception. And Aya and Hassan and Mahmoud at the restaurant were amazing and very thoughtful. They always made sure the children are having fun at breakfast.
The Hotel itself is very clean and well placed on the east side of Cairo. The pool was amazing with variable depth so the children had a lot of fun in the shallow area. There was a little basketball court and table tennis. And obviously the golf field.
Overall outstanding experience and most importantly the children had a blast which was the whole point.
Loved our vacation in Egypt.

The one thing I would probably add to this hotel is a Vending coke machine 😂. But that was not a deal breaker.

Normal in everything, the room facilities were not good, coffee machine not working, empty minibar despite I used a Suite! shower was not good as well. nothing special to differentiate between a normal room resident and a suite except the space and the normal room only double price!

Amazing stay. Everything is top level from the breakfast to the rooms, staff, facilities and landscape. This is my 2nd stay and will always manage to get couple of nights when I am in Egypt

Very friendly and helpful staff, everything is very COVID safe with lots of space on the resort. The food was very good, facilities were great and you have access to the golf course (at certain times) to go for a run or walk around. The rooms are very big with balconies. It is slightly isolated from "old" Cairo, but great if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and spend time in an oasis.

Nothing unique about this place cause they have the worst staff ever, feels like you’re in a military base. The hotel was full of guys who are wearing black suit and carrying walkie talkie.

1- more than 6 times and door for my suite didn't opened even after they fix it
2- they didnt provide toothbrush unless you request it despite I was in suite not a classic room
3-the items in the Mini-bar are not for free despite the suite price is douple the classic room price
4- you need a car to move to anyware outside the resort .. No way to walk to reach to nearest mall

If you are an avid golfer, or are staying with someone who is, Westin Cairo has one of the most beautiful golf courses we've seen. If you aren't much of a golfer, they have a spa that will cater to all of your needs, as well as a gym. The food is delicious! The chefs do a fabulous job from presentation to tasting, and everything always tastes so fresh! The resort is located in New Cairo, a bit further from actual Cairo - about an hour away - but well worth the trip, and even then, transportation into Cairo or Giza is inexpensive. if you're looking for an upscale place to stay and relax, look no further! The Westin Cairo Golf Resort & Spa is where it's at!

Amazing stay, very clean, lovely food, very friendly staff.
Hotel itself is not a big area, the resort landscape is for golf only.
I didn't like that the spa is separated from the hotel in a separate building so I had to walk to the room in the cold for few minutes, golf cars available but still.

The golf course was amazing. The gardens and setting was very pleasant. Did not feel like you in hectic Cairo at all. Breakfast was very good.The only thing that really upset me was that we booked a King bed and had 2 single beds. I had to ask several times for this to be changed and eventually moved the beds together myself.

The resort was amazing, quite and safe. I really love the place. The room was very big, clean and nice. They have multiple swimming pools and it’s really clean and big. The staff were so friendly. I like the place and recommended to everyone.

The property was in great condition, the rooms are large and clean and the service from the staff was great. Only annoying thing is the security screening process upon entering the premise with a car, but I guess this is a required security protocol. Highly recommended and I have already booked my next stay.
