The room was nice, however the tub/shower had a clog/slow drain that stayed during showering. It is on a bust street. I asked about late check out (only until 1 p.m. because my event started at 3 and it was across the street) because I saw IHG had late check-out until 2 p.m., I was told 12 p.m was the latest. I do understand that happens. But due to the proximity of the event I attended, parked outside the hotel for about 2 hours. Overall it not terrible. It is extremely convient if you are going to the T-mobile center.

Terrible experience. Will never stay there again and recommend nobody does
Very old building converted to a motel. Only 20 parking spaces in very small parking lot and guests have to pay $25/night or find offsite pay for parking several blocks away. They don’t advertise this until a non-refundable advance payment is made. A complete scam
Street racers spinning tires all 4 nights there until about 2 AM and hotel apparently didn’t care to call the police. Impossible to get a full nights sleep
Room was micro small. Only about 3’ total around the bed. Two people can’t pass each other without turning sideways
Half of the elevators didn’t work
It’s a horrible choice that should be avoid.

Our time in KC was amazing. The hotel was located nicely to get to downtown and the light district. Only thing was the elevator being down on our last day.

It was unusually noisy in the room. You could hear all outside sounds including voices all night long. And in the middle of the night it got insanely humid and hot in the room even though the AC was on full blast

What a pleasant surprise. Was driving through KC on my way to Denver from the East Coast and needed a place for the night. I haven't stayed at a Holiday Inn property in years. I'm usually a Hilton or Marriott person. Wow. The associate at check in was friendly and professional. The room was large, clean, quiet and comfortable. Hotel breakfast was standard fair. I will say the coffee wasn't very good. I would absolutely stay here again, and lately I don't feel like I say that very often.

Very nice hotel. Very close to T- mobile arena. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Only issue was that we could not control the room temperature from our room thermostat . We had to call the front desk and ask them to change it. The parking $25 overnight parking was very convenient

Hotel & staff were fine but I didn't realize the detention center was next door. We wished the door by the parking lot was more secure so not every random person could walk in. There were no issues but just made us a little uneasy.

I highly recommend staying at this hotel if you have anything planned in downtown Kansas City. The hotel is very close to the Power & Light district and other attractions downtown that are within walking distance. Our room was very spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and the continental breakfast was very good. We would definitely stay here again.

I was really impressed with the staff. I was checked in by a young woman and I’m sorry I don’t remember her name but she made everything just fabulous. It really struck me while there that the staff works as a team because I always saw people on point, cleaning a bit, checking in with guests. And no one was just on their phone hanging out behind the front desk. The front desk staff was super helpful. And, even when there was an issue with the stove one morning, the kitchen staff was friendly and trying to get guests a decent breakfast. My room was very clean and super comfortable. Also, Meghan went out of her way to help me with my receipt after I left the hotel and had lost it. I have rarely had such a good experience in a chain hotel. I would definitely stay here again!
