The property was in walkable distance to the Old Town and it was clean and comfortable. The parking was a little tricky - but we lucked out and found a spot in front of the building.

For me was perfect. There was nothing I disliked.

I liked that it was on a side-street and quiet yest in a convenient location. I would prefer a real person to a check-in machine. I didn't like that the shower door was broken and apparently a previous guest brought it the the attention of the staff. There was a front desk attendant for a few hours and I reminded him of the issue but there was no effort to fix it. It made it awkward to shower. Additionally, there is a sensible note suggesting the guest reuse the towel, which is commendable yet there were no towel racks to allow said guest to dry the towel. That's plain ridiculous. I showed the attendant. If management is paying attention, they should provide a partial refund.

A fair distance from the old town, probably need a bus. Not sure if there is ac at this hotel. Self check-in was convenient, but didn’t see any staff for two nights.

Very quiet place with so many cafe. Two supermarket nearby.There was nobody so you have to do self checkin.

We had booked the small apartment that can house 4 adults for a quick weekend trip around Heidelberg. We were pleased with the location, the easy self check-in as well as the room itself. The room/apartment was very clean and spacious! Parking is available about 3 or 4 blocks south from the hotel, in a parking garage located next to a city Edeka grocery store. The daily rate for your car being parked there for 24hrs is €18. There are multiple locations where you can get coffee, baked goods as well as grocery stores to bring back some things to the hotel (the apartment did have a fridge available in the kitchen). Overall, a very wonderful stay, if you like being in the city center and walking distance to all the sight seeing around Heidelberg :)

We stayed in the apartment. It was very spacious and comfortable. Has a kitchen area. The only uncomfortable part is there is no AC and it was hot and humid when we were there. The hotel can't control the weather but something to think about if you are traveling in the summer. Easy self check in and out. Easy access to transportation and food. Nice place to stay.

Great location

This hotel is as it appears. No frills, just a clean, economical place in Heidelberg. It’s just outside of old town. A little far for walking but not too bad. Plenty of restaurants within a 15 min walk.

Das Raum war sehr sauber. Aber leider war das Bett nicht sehr bequem, besonders das Kissen. Es wäre schön, wenn es eine kleine Kühlschrank hätte

Affordable option, close enough to walk in to old Town. Very clean room. I only stayed one night but for others to stay longer, would be nice to have a small fridge. My check in experience was not the best. Could be clearer communication about the process. I arrived before check in time so could not use the self check in machine. No one was at front desk. There was a number on a sign to call but it took me some time to realize this as it did not stand out very well. I was able to call and the person who answered got the cleaner to open for me so I could store my luggage until check in time. If I did not have a sim card for Germany I would have been stuck outside indefinitely with my luggage.

Was a good stay. Wish they had a reception to keep my bag on the check out day. P

The overall hotel/room is really nice. the location is close to the train. I had a car and there wasn't any place to park close by. I had to park in a garage and didn't mind because it was safe but the cost added to my trip 20 euros and it was about 5 blocks away. There is not any hotel staff except for the housekeeping staff. If there is an issue there is no way to resolve it.

We rented the “apartment” for our family of 4. It was very spacious. The location is between the train station and the main shopping streets of Heidelberg. Was perfect for us. No A/C so if it’s hotel be ready to sweat.

Very satisfied with the stay- convenient checkin, clean& disinfected room, and walking distance to the shops, restaurants, and tourist attractions. Definitely will stay again! : )

Ok, location. Very simple and low key hotel.

Very good location. Super market and bakery in a few meters distance. Only 15' walk from the main train station. Auto check in process without any problem. I didn't see any reception staff because I wasn't at the hotel at the reception hours but it was ok. A coffee capsule and a bottle of water were provided for free.

This hotel is good for people who want a central location in Heidelberg so that they are able to see the centre of town. The hotel is quite simple, but neat and clean. It's also very close to buses and trams, so it's easy to travel around, and it's within walking distance of the main train station (about 15-20 minutes).

It is a lovely, quaint hotel with a family room having a separate sleeping area. There is complimentary bottles of water and coffee, a good shower. It is a personal free check in service so I can't comment on the service.

Good choice for a solo traveler. The check-in-by-yourself is cool. The bed and shower are quite clean. Coffee machine inside made my day. There is no breakfast but I am OK with that.

The water did not drain in shower so it was difficult to take a nice shower.

Hotel is very clean & comfortable (the shower was excellent), close to the old town & the railway station so its easy to get about the city & with numerous bars & restaurants nearby youre not stuck for refreshments (Schwarzer Walfisch round the corner is great for breakfast)

We rented a suite and it was really like an apartment! There a full kitchen and could accommodate a family for an extended stay. It’s conveniently located near delicious restaurants, great shops, and walking distance to the river and old town. When we come back we want to stay here again.

The automatic check-in facility was straightforward and easy to use. I didn't deal with any staff at all, that's why I haven't rated them in this review. Very convenient and rather pleasant location. The coffee machine appeared to be only useful to prepare the coffee they provide for free. It's not a kettle, so I don't think it can be used for making noodles or anything else, though I didn't actually try it. Also I couldn't find any kitchen in the hotel. In any case, the experience of my stay was positive.

The hotel is underrated. It offers comfort away from home. Strategically located, it is walking distance to the city centre (Bismarckplatz). The self-check-in option was extremely convenient, especially for guests arriving at night. The bed was comfortable and the high ceilings ensured good airflow. The noise isolation was also commendable. All the necessary amenities were provided and changed on time. Other than that, we did not have any interactions with the staff. The stay was really amazing overall.
