We loved The Hendricks Hotel! I wish we could have stayed longer and had time to enjoy the room. We didn't even have a chance to enjoy our welcome drinks. Such a cozy spot right near the water. We would definitely stay again!

Very overpriced for the location , very uncomfortable beds and pillows , poorly operated with lack of consideration to guests , noisy staff waking up guests very early in the morning with no lack of professionalism ..lack of restaurant poor offerings for over priced breakfast

The hotel was clean and nice area. Close to train station and river cruise dock. Staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was good. Our room was small and our only complaint was the bed was up on a tall frame so we had to go up two steps to get into bed. Likely not an issue for young people but for two seniors it was tricky. We were there for just two nights so dealt with it.

The room I got was much prettier than the photo I saw for it online. The staff were the most polite, knowledgeable and helpful I have ever encountered at a hotel in my life! Roger and Roos van Wijk were my favorite staff members there, I give those two an A in every category for hotel staff!! The hotel location was phenomenal!!!

Very beautiful hotel in heritage building, real character and a great mix of old and modern in design, we had a beautiful suite, spacious and quiet, bathroom was very modern and beautiful. The staff is exceptional, very helpful and professional, we very much enjoyed our stay. Recommend paying for their breakfast, you will not regret. It was raining in Amsterdam and we were greeted so nicely with welcome cocktails and superb hospitality, we felt like visiting a friends home, it was very pleasant. A real gem in Amsterdam. Everything of importance is in walking distance. Huge thanks to the wonderful staff at The Hendicks Amsterdam.

We had an amazing stay! Hotel is walking distance from Central Train station and close enough to walk to many sights. The room was super clean and comfortable too. The complementary drink was also a nice touch - the Hendrick’s Gin & Tonic was delicious! We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Amsterdam.

My room was spacious, but lacked or decent reading light over the sofa or over the bed. The staff tried to help me, but apparently management was not available so for two days I had an inadequate room though fully charged.
There were many USB A outlets, but no USB-C outlets.
The shower needed a grab rail for those of us whose balance isn’t perfect.

This is a lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. They accommodated special requests. The room was large and well equipped. The breakfast was great with lots of choices o buffet and made to order dishes. Neighborhood is convenient. 10 minute walk to central station to get anywhere in city.

When reserving make sure to read the fine print. I unknowingly book the smallest room. The bed was elevated, very limited closet space, no chair other than the desk chair. The small but we made it work. The hotel is very comfortable and the staff very helpful

We loved The Hendrick's. The small lobby has a comfy feel with tables scattered throughout it. Our room was spacious (by European hotel standards) with a sitting area/living room and a separate bedroom. The colors of the walls and furniture were elegant and the arts work was a nice touch.
The bathroom was spacious with 2 sinks and a walk-in shower. The tiles on the walls and floor were attractive.
The staff was helpful and pleasant.
The breakfast was just ok.
The hotel is about a 10 to 15-minute walk from the Central station and close to Chinatown.
