The apartment was so great to my family. Clean, elegant design and beautiful also... Really recommend

It was amazing!! Really clean and nice rooms and the bed was comfortable. Pretty close to the city center. I would recommend this to everyone :)

Clean and comfortable room around a 10-15 walk from the central areas of Genoa (albeit up hill). Shared bathroom was clean and the building was nicely presented. The only criticism was the busy road outside was loud in the evening in the room I had. Thankfully I slept through most of it.

Michael is terrific host! very friendly, helpful and extremely accommodating!The location was convenient for us - couple of minutes walk to Via Garibaldi with all the museums and perhaps 15 mins walk to/from Principe Train Station.Enough various places in the immediate area to have a good meal (breakfast lunch or dinner)The room was clean all the time and was adequate. No problems with shared bathrooms and although we did not use the kitchen/eating area - it was there and other folks in place did make use of itThe only 2 ehs are that the towels were a bit on thin side and have seen better days and that the shampoo/soap was supplied only once for a 2-night stay (wouldve been nice if it was for every one)

Clean communal kitchen to use if you would like. Original doors to suites offer character but are a bit flimsy. Although they lock, we were concerned about how sturdy and secure they were. Restaurants are a few blocks away.

I’m so pleased with this stay. I came here using Genova as a base for a 5 days exploring bit of Italian riviera. The b&b is in a very nice area, so easy to get to from principe station, the place is really nice and homely, owners are the most lovely persons I’ve ever met, won’t be disappointed I promise!

Leone X Genova is a great place to stay and excellent value for money. Our double room was very spacious (the most spacious we have had after a month of travelling!) with lovely decorated high ceilings. The room was also nice and cool and the wall artwork is amazing. The pictures depict the room as it is very well. The bathroom is separate to the room but only a very short distance away and fully equipped. All locks, electronics etc. worked fine and everything was clean. There is also a shared kitchen if required. The building itself is quintessentially Italian, with a grand ground floor entrance and an elegantly decorated open stone stairway. It is a bit of a treck from the train station but we managed it with rucksacks. There is a bus stop close by which runs from the station. Reception is open from 9-1 but you will be sent the entry code if you arrive later and can check in the following morning. Check out is by 10:30. The staff are very friendly. We would love to stay again sometime.

We recommend this accommodation as one of the best we had in Italy. Situated in centre of Genoa it is ideal for exploring the city by foot. For older people: 4th floor - no lift, 10 minutes walk to the nearest café.

The place is wonderful, it is located near the city center and it’s in a safe neighborhood. It’s very clean thanks to mama, it has great art on the walls, and the host is a wonderful person. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Genova! Highly recommend it!
