The view alone from this property is insane. Situated near all the shopping in Vik. It was clean and quiet. Would stay again!

The property is well situated and very clean.

We stayed for one night on our trek down the ring road. Check in was easy, and check out was as well. There is a small kitchenette for guests to use if you are prepping meals as you go. However there is no refrigerator so be prepared to make simple things. The room was clean and well set until for our stay. Be warned, noise travels through the walls very easily! Overall, this was a great option for us. It is very fairly priced, and well located.

Nice and cozy room. Everything was very clean, especially the shared bathrooms.

Guest house very clean, staff friendly and helpful. We meet so many different people from different countries but it was so pleasant and everyone friendly and no noises for disturbance.

Nice place for one night. Shared bathrooms woth other guests, but not bad. Not able to accommodate Gluten Free for breakfast. Close to town and gppd view from some of the rooms.

Very clean place for a great price and the location is really close to town which is great. My only complaint is the lack of plug in options. Our room only had two outlets, and when you're traveling and needing to charge cameras and phones, etc, that made it really tough

Brilliant guesthouse. Spacious and modern double room, comfy bed and nice area to relax in. Small basic kitchen (microwave and fridge) which can be used for breakfast and other meals. Easy parking outside as well. Shared bathroom facilities were clean and modern.

Guesthouse Carina is a very modern yet homely guesthouse with all the facilities new and very clean. Really welcoming and helpful staff. Comfortable beds and spacious rooms (we booked for a family of 3 and were lucky enough to get a balcony room with ocean views). The dining / shared area was a highlight with it being in a huge glass cube that gave you amazing waterfront views. Would have been nice to have warm food options at breakfast such as eggs, sausages etc given how cold it is in winter. Other than that highly recommend!

Staff are friendly and helpful. The environment is excellent but the room price is quite high.

Perfect spot upon entering Vik. I’d definitely recommend it.

Dry clean a omodations

Shared bathrooms smell very bad, people talked loudly and woke me up at mid night.

For 2 people, charged $233 and they put us in the basement, no breakfast. They asked another $40 for breakfast. No bathroom or toilet in the room. No TV. Noisy upstairs. This is like a youth hostel for a much higher price. Staff was snooty/rude.

Everything was excellent. One little thing, would be great one microwave for more convenient.

We are so glad we stumbled onto Guesthouse Carina!! The staff was helpful and pleasant, the accommodations were clean, welcoming, and comfortable and the views were beautiful!! (You must eat in their dinning room!) The town of Vik is quaint and picturesque. There are nice restaurant down the hill, with shopping options, gas stations, and walking paths. Just a great place to take a break!! 👍👍

It's a place made for backpackers on a tight budget. You can hear EVERYTHING from your neighbors and the rooms are just next to the bathrooms, dining area, and entrance so there is always noise. It's a decent enough place in a real pinch, but I wouldn't stay here again.
