Perfect and excellent breakfast.

Delightful check in with Turkish receptionist student who is working at desk for short time while perfecting English language skills. Room was very large and clean except that the shower needs caulking; apparent mold where shower pan meets back wall.

My only issue was the white towels were not white. They were dinge and when I asked for more towels they said the cleaning poeple had them all, so if I see housekeeping to get them from them.

Flo was very friendly and kept the breakfast. area well stocked. Front desk staff also very friendly.

Poor fit and finish. Poor hygene in rooms

The hotel looks impressive but, I felt that the sheets had not been changed and I know the floor had not been washed because I spilled water and had to use a towel to wipe it and I ruined the towel it came up black that also goes for bathroom floor. Went down for coffee twice and none to be had, then went back down for their breakfast and had to wait. Lady complaining that she was the only one working but seen other staff members that could have helped her. So we had to leave without any coffee, juice or breakfast at this overpriced hotel. Will think twice before staying here again. No we didn’t call housekeeping because we checked in late and new nobody would come and we were tired so slept on top of sheets.

Seemed short-staffed but staff pleasant.

While we normally like Holiday Inn this time it was very disappointing. We prepaid yet they double charged us after check out and we are still waiting for a refund. The pool was closed and the breakfast was horrible. Despite being earlier in the morning they were out of a ton and had broken equipment.

They didn’t honor my reservation and gave me a king room even though I booked a queen. The room specifically the bathroom could have been cleaned better. I heard the ice machine, people in the hallway and the room above us all night.

The staff was very nice, the room was very nice, the bathroom showed a bit of wear, but overall, the stay was very pleasant.

This was the Murphy’s Law of hotel stays. If something could go wrong, it did. Starting with the positive - the hotel is a fairly new building, the area around it is fine, and the staff were all friendly and tried to correct issues they didn’t create. Now for the rest: we arrived for our reservation around 10 pm to find the hotel was overbooked, so they could only offer a room with a king bed, pull out couch and no TV. We accepted because this was not really a big deal. When we got to the room, the bed had been slept in and there were wet towels covered in body hair in the shower. There were no linens for the pullout. At first the front desk assured us the room had been cleaned, but agreed to clean it when we told them about the hairy wet washcloth in the shower. While we waited in the lobby, we discovered the 24-hour coffee service was empty and the lobby bathroom toilet was leaking with a puddle on the floor and wouldn’t flush. When we got to our freshly cleaned room around 11 pm, there were only sheets for the pullout and we had to get blankets from the car for our kids. Then, overnight, the toilet clogged and became unusable. When we went to shower the next morning, we had 3 towels for 4 people. Breakfast was not great either; they were out of hot food by 9:15, out of regular coffee, out of milk for cereal, and the pancake machine was broken. The whole stay was one thing after another. Staff were apologetic and did their best, but we wouldn’t stay here again.

The entrance from Main Street was not marked with any signs and NO lights. It was confusing because my GPS took me to Holiday Inn but I had a reservation at Holiday Inn Express. From the parking lot, we didn't see the Express sign but the staff person politely told us to check over the Express hotel.

Room was dirty

Nearby to Kalamazoo. The breakfast is decent, the bed is comfortable and the room is quiet. If you want frills, stay somewhere else. If you want a nice place to sleep, here you go.

First, the front desk staff was Awesome. However, for a busy event-filled weekend, they were drastically understaffed and underprepared. For a newer looking hotel, it needs help. We were told by the front desk to not use the restrooms near the pool as they need “servicing.” Our hotel had the pool, so the Holiday Inn sister hotel in the parking lot, the guests were coming over to use ours. No biggie, except this pool had a 29 person limit in a small cement room with 50+ people trying bobbing in it. The beds were very comfortable but not set up appropriately. Sofa beds did not have supplies and guests were battling over the limited extra sheets and pillows available. For continental breakfast each morning (Saturday and Sunday of a sold-out hotel), they had one person working on stocking who couldn’t move with urgency at all. Ran out of plates, ran out of coffee, ran out of fruit, ran out of refrigerated items - it was like the hunger games. When I noticed the one staff member about the coffee, she proceeded to ssslllooowwwwllllyy change the trash can that was 1/3 full as she just nodded her head. 30 mins later, still no coffee for anyone. We ended up forgoing the “free” breakfast and supported a local restaurant.

Our check-in process was fine, however, when we arrived in our room, we had one towel and one washcloth. We had to go back to the service desk to get additional towels. The mattress was OK but the pillows were absolutely horrible. Cleanliness was average. The room was hot when we arrived… Very humid. We went across the way in the evening to the bar which provided horrible service. We left and went down the street to Applebee’s. The next morning we woke up to go get breakfast and it took forever for the servers to replenish the breakfast items. I’d say overall, it was only an average. Wouldn’t recommend.

We had to ask for towels and for some reason the one we had was damp. The pool is a bit small and breakfast was lacking. The water, orange juice etc was broken. Overall comfortable and and ok stay.

The floor of the room was not cleaned, so it was full of crisps. The refrigerator was broken, so I had to store food separately. The service was not good either.

Over all pretty good. I asked for clean towels and they didn't bring them right away, I suppose there was maybe a shortage. But we did get them a little later.

We have relatives who live near. We really like this hotel. Few times we couldn’t stay hear because of the price. We were pleased this time it was in our price range!

Hotel was clean; room was nice. It's easy to get to right off the highway. Bed was very, very firm. Tip: if you are getting the breakfast, go early! They don't really replace the empties and restock it in the last hour. That was a little disappointing for a Sunday morning at about 9:00 am, but we were only staying one night. Everything else was above average and I would recommend it.

Behind the building was a big field sort of torn up. Not a big deal, probably better than in a few years when it’s a parking lot for a new building.

The check in was confused and prolonged. It appears that we may have been charged twice. The billing is being reviewed by the manager.

They’re extremely accommodating! The were able to move me to a first floor room as I’m disabled physically. The breakfast was good, there’s was enough options. I can’t have gluten and I was able to eat a full breakfast. The bed was comfy, the room was decently clean. The water pressure was moderate, not bad. It was honestly a good time.
