Great location, bigger room size than usual in Tokyo for this price, nice breakfast set options

We had a nice stay at Hotel Risveglio! This was a good hotel for the money - the room was on the small size but very functional. The room was clean, but not in perfect condition and amenities were the lowest of our stay in other Japenese hotels. Despite this, everything worked well and the location was fantastic for our stay in Tokyo.

Staffs are very kind and ok with english. The room was little bit old and not quite clean at the corners of the room. Overall it was quite and cozy.

I'm a return visitor to this hotel - Akasaka is a very convenient area for transit, and the hotel offers great value. Lots of walkable options for good food nearby as well. The rooms are small, but charming and comfortable - great design work here!

Beautiful hotel! Clean quiet comfortable property with amazingly comfortable beds and a fantastic bath! Loved our stay here - and Akasaka is such a nice neighborhood with lots of funky shops and restaurants

The hotel has easy access to/from train station. During the night there were lots of foot traffic near by. However since I was on the upper floors, noise was never an issue. The check in was easy and pleasant, they even let me check-in early. The stay was good and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, they offer 6 different styles to choose from, my favorite was the Japanese. Only minor complain was…on the web site photos. In the rooms are various “cool” art work on the walls. in my particular room, the art was sort of erased and only traces of it was left, not a big deal. Just hope you don’t get that one, because it makes the room looked bland. BTW, it was a singles room.

We loved our stay at the hotel. The location was great and the room was perfect for the three of us. The entire hotel was impeccably clean and had everything we needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And great breakfast!

The hotel is close to the train station, surrounded by restaurants, and the breakfast options at the hotel were delicious. The staff was super friendly and our stay was fantastic. Highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel to stay at! A lot of areas to eat, close to the Akasaka-mitsuke station (about 5 minute walk), the perfect distance away from downtown and other busy parts of Tokyo; you get a lot of piece of and quiet. More great things about this property is that there is a decent sized 7-11 right across the hotel (literally 1 minute walk, maybe less) and also hotel provides fresh pajamas and toiletries every night. Overall my stay here for 2 weeks was perfect, would consider booking with this hotel for the future!

Staff spoke English and was very helpful. Great location 2 blocks from subway station Akasaka-Mitsuke. Tons of restaurants and bars, small food market, 7-11, etc. Hard to find hotel here with multiple douuble beds, so we were happy to find this one.

The building itself was run down, but the staff was very friendly compared to othet Japanese hotels and spoke good English. Breakfast menu looked great but unfortunately I couldn't eat a full meal so early in the morning. Neighborhood is interesting...a bit too night-life oriented for my taste but it was okay inside the hotel. The best thing about this hotel was the shower water pressure.

We enjoyed our stay a lot, the room is smallish but well appointed with modern amenities. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty, and staff really helpful. They have a free espresso machine in the lobby with good coffee.

The rooms are very small. You cannot move around in them. They are barely enough for one person. The hotel staff do not speak English at all, which caused me great discomfort. There is no breakfast buffet at all, only a pre-prepared meal with very limited options in a restaurant next to the hotel. The restaurant is not clean at all, and neither are the staff. In the restaurant, I also paid tax twice, the first through Expedia, and when I arrived at the hotel, I paid the receptionist a tax again, and this is not explained. In general, I do not recommend it compared to the price, the non-existent services, and the level of cleanliness.

We got the suite. The room is big enough for four people. There are numerous restaurants in the vicinity, and the subway station is just three minutes away.

Our first time in Japan and the staff was exceptional! So helpful and accommodating. Beautiful property and right next door to an amazing restaurant called Tokyo Oven. Wish we could’ve stayed here longer!

Good location, nice quiet neighborhood around Tokyo area. Short walk to bus/train/subway stations. Very nice updated hotel with friendly staff. Get the breakfast option for around $6 a day. Great breakfast menu. Would definitely stay there again.
