This was a really cute Riad in a good location! The staff were really helpful and accommodating, even when I had a very early check-out, preparing breakfast for me in advance. The room itself is really cute, and I thought it was a really good deal.

The riad is clean, excellent service, room was great. Music during the day was too loud. Zaina went out of her way by helping us bring our luggage in and out of the riad. Breakfast was very good. Place is hard to find, though. Would stay here again.

This riad is absolutely stunning. Located in a quiet street in the old medina, yet close walking distance to the souk, famous blue gate and more. The riad is beautifully decorated, beautiful courtyard with a fountain. There's a rooftop terrace with an amazing view of the medina. Breakfast was simple but with delicious Morrocan treats everyday.

The best Riad I’ve ever stayed

This Riad is beautiful and clean and the staff is friendly and very helpful. They helped recharge our SIM card and the staff organized our trip to the airport at 4am and brought us to the taxi in the middle of the night. There is a rooftop terrasse with an amazing view! We had dinner two nights and the food was fresh and delicious. A few things that we didn’t like was that our room and bathroom were tiny and the room was way up on the fourth floor. The problem with this is the stairs were steep and had no railings to hold onto. For older people like us this can be a problem.

Clean, charming and the staff are very helpful. The breakfast is incredible. I would encourage anyone who wants to stay in the Medina to stay here!

The staff were extremely courteous. Please make sure not to book the boiler room. Those who are clauteophobic, will have a tough time. Other rooms are spacious. The staff goes out of their way yo accommodate your needs.

Riad Alasalla has a great location steps away from the Medina. The staff is very friendly and helpful with any concerns. Breakfasts are a great way to start the day on the right foot. The Riad has a beautiful vista on the terrace and lots of nice design features on the inside. We valued our time here we would recommend

This is a beautiful and well kept Riad on the edge of the huge Medina with large room and even a small refrigerator that we did not see in any of our other stays in Morocco. It is on the edge of the Medina so it was easier to get around. In the centre of the Medina was too much for us to find our way around so need a good guide. Breakfast was good and luckily evening meal was very good so we ate those meals at the Riad because we were unsure of being able to find our way around after dark. Taxis can only come to the edge of the Medina so it’s easy for us to get lost so the hotel staff have to meet you and walk in with you the first time. Beautiful rooftop view of area before and after dark. Staff and owner very friendly and helpful. I would recommend a stay here.

I have stayed in quite many different hotels and this Riad is one of the best accommodations I have ever experienced. After a long trip from Sahara desert, I was stunned by the serene vibe of this Riad and had a refreshing shower here. The facilities and room were clean and it showed a traditional Moroccan style in detail. The breakfast was absolutely amazing as to my surprise, I tasted one of the best yogurt. However, it would be better if they could deliver the breakfast quicker. I was in a rush but it seems most of the guests needed to wait for more than 30 mins for the breakfast. Some staff could not speak basic English so it had a hard time communicating the needs at first. There can be some random strangers in the street at night. Remember not to follow them even they tried to sell you or claim to know the boss of this hotel.

We really loved our experience at Riad Alassala. There were so many choices to pick from for Riad in Fes, but we really felt that we made the right choice in the end. The Riad is incredibly serene and beautiful, the staff went above and beyond at all times, and the accommodations were extremely well maintained and comfortable. The Riad had a restaurant with an exceptional female chef (which we loved!) who accommodated our dining requests and her cooking was phenomenal. We were really happy with this Riad and felt it was fantastic value!

A really good place to stay, full of character, comfortable rooms and a wonderful rooftop terrace. The manager, his wife and the staff are all lovely, nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was very good and the coffee great. The manager is proficient in a good number of languages and is a good conversationalist if that’s what you want (I did). Our rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels supplied. Staying here, you are right in the middle of the Fez media, an amazing place full of life, character and people. My one bit of advice is: if you have not been to anywhere like this before and are staying in one of these many hotels set in those areas just off the main tourist area - which I think is a much better option than staying in one of the big, upmarket, non-Moroccan, out of the main town, hotels - then it might be better to arrive in daylight, as the narrow streets can seem daunting at first sight in the dark. That said, the shuttle driver took us to the front door so you’re not going to be lost.

Absolutely beautiful riad in a great location within the medina, yet away from the busiest and most chaotic streets. The room was spotless, had a comfortable bed, AC and a large bathroom. The view from the terrace at dusk is stunning and breakfast was wonderful too, but the real game-changer was the owner's incredible hospitality. Bousha will go above and beyond anything you imagine: he organized walking and desert tours for us, both of which were great quality and value, and was always available to answer our questions, offering to help without ever being pushy. He even surprised us with a birthday cake for my partner, providing that much needed family feeling when you're away from home. Our trip to Fez was so much better because of him, I just can't imagine staying anywhere else when going back... Thank you so much for your hospitality!

My friend had a toothache and his wife made us delicious soups and soft food for dinner. He arranged for a private city tour with an excellent guide and when the bus tickets were sold out for our transfer to the next city, he arranged for a private driver at a reasonable price. The room was comfortable and the view from the rooftop garden was breathtaking. I would happily stay there again. It was safe and clean which was important to two female travelers.

This Riad has a very peaceful ambience with fantastic staff providing excellent care and attention to us guests.. The interior courtyard decor is astounding with historic elements from the 16th century ( Marble columns)..But with all modern home-comforts..Rooms are luxurious..The terrace has breath-taking panoramic views of the entire Fes-Medina..
