Hotel is pretty new. Clean, modern and within my budget. However check in was horrible. Arrived at 2:00pm, receptionist reminded me that check in was until 3:00pm and that why all the people in the lobby were waiting to check in. We left to have something to eat and came back right at 3:00pm and there was so many people checking in with only one receptionist, I asked her if she can call somebody else to assist her and with a rude attitude said that she was busy checking on the rooms. It took us an hour to check in, made us late to our reservation and was not able to reschedule our event! I also asked the receptionist if administration knew how busy the town was and gave scheduled more personnel and she didn’t answer me, she just look at me like “l don’t care!” Security officers were spectacular, friendly and made us feel safe. During the long wait, they were offering water and attending the guests needs.

I booked this because it was pet friendly. When I got there they wouldn’t let me stay cause I had a cat. CAN WE JUST SAY DOG/CAT FRIENDLY.

Not much to the breakfast just scrambled eggs, toast, and coffee and maybe some fruit. Not much parking space for all the rooms. The pool is very small and gets very crowded quickly. The beds is not comfortable there really hard like a futon mattress, and I had to keep asking for towels because the maids take all the towels and don’t replace them. The staff is kind and friendly and if you ask they’ll fill your request. Just really a low grade hotel but if your on a budget and just need a cheap place to go it’s not bad.

Really bad service they give the rooms to late you never get cleaned on time they don’t have enough towels and they never swap the rooms also they don’t have the breakfast on time and if do you request them to fill the breakfast line they take to long like they don’t want to do it ,,,,,,,

It was not clean at all. The room stank. The water took ti long to get hot. It was horrible the beds are hard. Pillows were not comfortable. The iorn had stinky water in it. No wash clothes available.

Staff very courteous. Our room very clean & spacious. We got the room with king size bed & sofa bed. We felt safe.

Is a small place with a small pool the parking is small only one small ice machine was available the vending machine for snacks and amenities as like a shampoo by the breakfast was ok fruits cereal milk coffe and breast eggs or toothpaste was ok but it doesn’t work at time I need it the view only haft ocean and city haft was quite and probably half mile from the restaurants and malecon and elevator are small is best value hotel economical great for one or two person tv are 19 in is not HD the cable is analog make me remember 20 years ago but they have a good channel s as cnn and hystory and other channels I like be feir with everything is you choice is 100 us if you ask me if I stayed for extra a night probably not I tray other place

I like very good customer service

It was nice and clean. A short five minute walk to the beach. There was many different places to eat and enjoy the beach. The staff was nice and accommodating.

Be prepared to wait on check in. And keep your place in line since the staff has no experience dealing with guests and you end up spending more than 30 minutes just checking in.

I recently stayed at the City Express by Marriott in Ensenada, and I must say it exceeded my expectations in every way. This was my first visit to Ensenada, and I'm thrilled that I chose this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming. The front desk team was efficient and friendly, ensuring a smooth check-in process. The valet staff was always available to assist with parking, making it hassle-free. The restaurant staff was attentive and courteous, especially during breakfast, where the variety and quality of the food were impressive. The housekeeping team maintained the rooms immaculately, ensuring a clean and comfortable environment throughout my stay. What stood out most was the tranquility and cleanliness of the hotel. It provided a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring the city. I encountered no issues during my stay, which speaks volumes about the hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction. Without a doubt, I would choose to stay at the City Express by Marriott Ensenada again on my next trip. The exceptional service and comfortable accommodations made my stay truly enjoyable.

This was not a pleasurable stay. The sheets had stains and some type of debry. To top it off the shower was not draining correctly. I was afraid that it would fill up before I could finish showering.
