Wonderful place to stay!
Clean, friendly, beautiful views. It was a relaxing night before heading to Kilimanjaro.

The hotel is really beautiful, the attention is really cool and the views are amazing. But what I liked the most is how clean this hotel is. Definitely recommended for anyone.
The transportation has to be pre booked because there is not much around the hotel.

I have been to the Kilimanjaro area on six separate occasions and there is no other place that compares to the Pink Flamingo. It was honestly one to the best places I have ever stayed at in all my years of travel. The accommodations, food, service and general customer service attentiveness was a 10/10. The Pink Flamingo will be by forever home away from home when I travel to the Kilimanjaro region. I promise you, you will not be disappointed.

This place was absolutely beautiful. Warmest and nicest hosts and everything was simply wonderful for our stay. 8 of us traveling together and we could not have been happier.

Very good hotel with good staff and management

We had a wonderful time at the Pink Flamingo. This stay was at the end of our Safari trip and it was the perfect place to relax. We stayed at the cottage and pretty much it was like having a small house for us with a private pool. We even got to see Mount Kilimanjaro from our terrace! Definitely recommended.

Property is beautiful, clean, staff is friendly, the food we tried was very good, very nice interior designing. The only downsides were:
-that the A/C didnt work the only night we stayed which was after our kilimanjaro trek when I was exhausted and this didnt allow me to get proper rest...
- the hot water came out all at once at the beginning of the shower so it ran out quickly
-the spa and the massage were fantastic but the masseuse had her cellphone with her while i was naked and didnt leave the spa afterwards to give me privacy while i showered and i was very uncomfortable and disappointed.

Wonderful boutique hotel in Moshi at the foothills of mt. Kilimanjaro. Only a few large suites/rooms including a cottage with own private pool (that we rented for one night post Safari before flying back to US). very personalized delightful service (owners will cook for you). Everything feels authentic and seemed to work properly. Nice views of Kili from the private terrace or the large shared pool
area. Great included breakfast, reasonable cost (they even let us use the cottage at no extra charge until 5 pm at checkout). Overall a great choice, highly recommended

Amazing! This is one of the best places my partner and I have stayed. Clean, beautiful, great food, amazing service, basically perfect! Agata the owners spent a lot of time with us chatting and making sure everything was perfect. Beautiful grounds, immaculately kept. Couldn’t have asked for better.

This property is a beautiful little oasis in moshi. The property itself it’s beautiful and very modern with a nice pool and loungers outside. Cassie who assisted us most of our stay was an absolute delight and was so kind and helpful. The food was cooked by the Italian owner (?) and was really good also. The only issues we had were with management, we asked to adjust our check in day and we’re told it couldn’t be done the day before arrival which is understandable. Then we arrive and our room isn’t ready and we are told that the staff wasn’t expecting us, keep in mind we were one of two guests at the property. This was quite frustrating especially because we had tried to make arrangements to come one day later and were told it could not be done. We also had zero hot water for our entire stay, our showers were ice cold and the management told us upon check out that they were having a maintenance problem and did nothing on our bill to make up for this issue. It would have been nice to chat with management during our stay if they checked in with how things were going but we were never approached other than by our lovely helper Cassie. Overall a beautiful place but definitely have some organization issues to figure out

The Pink Flamingo has a wonderful property. I stayed one night prior to my Kilimanjaro trek and one night after wards. The entire team at the Pink Flamingo have been friendly and helpful.

Beautiful property! Must stay in Kilimanjaro region!! Also our return flight was late at night and Leandro let us check-out in the evening instead of at noon without charging extra for the half-day.

Pink Flamingo is an absolute sanctuary in Moshi. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer, but it was the most perfect place to relax and unwind after climbing Kilimanjaro and a 5 day safari. The food was phenomenal, the pool area was perfect for relaxing with a book or a beer, our room was spacious, quiet, and very clear. The owners were super friendly and the staff was incredibly helpful. And last (but definitely not least!) it was by far one of the best showers we had in Tanzania! We cannot wait to come back to Pink Flamingo!

A truly perfect stay. Super friendly staff and owners, awesome property with lots of love for the details! Great kitchen with tasty Italian food! One of the best boutique hotels i've ever been!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS PLACE!!! We stayed here before our Kilimanjaro climb. We were coming from the U.S., and knowing we'd be exhausted by the time we arrived, I wanted to find the nicest place possible to relax and regroup before eight days on the mountain. The Pink Flamingo was absolutely perfect and, unlike some hotels that are more clever with marketing than reality, the property is even more beautiful than the photos. It's owned by an Italian couple, Leandro and Theresa, and their beautiful Tanzanian paradise is a labor of love. The hotel is absolutely spotless and as soon as you walk in the cool, spacious entrance, you can simply let go and let this special place work its magic. The staff is warm and attentive and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The food is fresh, healthy and delicious and they had no trouble accommodating our vegan diet. The pool is gorgeous and inviting and some of the surrounding tables provide stunning views of Kilimanjaro. Tropical plants and flowers throughout the property add the final touch to the pastoral landscape. The internet is fast and accessible in the rooms and some of the pool area, something we found to be rare in Tanzania. We found other hotels in Moshi to be owned by tour operators with a captive market and are very basic and expensive. We're forgoing our tour package night at one of these compounds to stay another night at the Pink Flamingo and maybe try the spa before we leave for Kenya. Truly an exceptional place!

Words can not fully express how amazing my stay was at this facility. First of all the lobby alone and greetings by the staff and the owners upon arrival gave a welcoming and familial feeling that I have never experienced at another hotel. As an NYer who travels a lot, I noticed that the people of TZ are generally more pleasant, cordial and respectful than the average American. I stayed in 2 other places in TZ prior to Pink Flamingo and, while I was impressed with the courtesy at the other places as well, nothing came close to PF. Now for the aesthetics. The pictures you see online do not do this places justice. Amazing views of Mt. Kilimamjaro on one side and an amazing overview of mainland's skyline on the other gave me a feeling of peace, tranquility, and luxury all at once. The rooms were immaculately designed, beds were extremely comfortable, and the food was freshly cooked each day and delicious. An abundance of fruit and vegetables throughout the day and bottomless TZ coffee prepared me for my excursions. The owner and his wife are two of the most pleasant individuals I've met. They set an example of cordiality and customer service that obviously trickle down to their staff. While PF is not particularly close to anything, we never had trouble finding a car service to venture out each day bc the owner made sure he found one for us.When i come back to Kili, this place on the top of my list to stay, hands down!

This property is a hidden gem. Gorgeous landscaping, view of Kilimanjaro (when he’s out ), and lovely decor. The food was delicious, and it’s a short taxi ride to town. I will definitely stay at The Pink Flamingo again.

The house is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are impecable, the pool, the view, the staff, the breakfast and dinners are delicious and totally worth it. The owner and manager Theresa is very attentive, always accessible, we arrived very late and she still was up to greet us and show us the property and ensure we didn’t need it anything else, I felt right at home and Theresa was so warming that it made me feel I had known here for a long time and we were old friends.
On my next trip to Moshi, I will make sure I always book the pink flamingo.

As we drove down a dirt road to The Pink Flamingo, we wondered what we were getting into. As soon as we walked into the villa, we were smitten! It was gorgeous, beautiful, exquisite! The high ceilings, interesting African artifacts and photographs, stained glass windows, large bedrooms, pools and views were like a dream. The owner, Theresa, and her son, Thomas, catered to our every need and desire. The Italian food cooked by Theresa was delicious. Both dinners we ate were so very good! We were not ready to leave when it was time to move on. We are already planning to stay there again on our next visit to Moshi. We've traveled for 10 years all over sub-saharan Africa. This is now our favorite hotel!
