Comfortable room, friendly staff, good location!

This was a perfect place to stay with my college-aged children on a family trip. The room was spacious and clean, with plenty of lighting options (bedside lamps for reading, etc.). Location was excellent: close to train/bus station, shopping district, restaurant, and grocery store. A wonderful place to stay in Fort William!

Amazing little stay! So clean and modern!

This was an amazing place to stay. Mark was so very kind and understanding when we were stuck in traffic and were a bit late. The room had a ceiling fan and the window opened which was amazing for some air. The room and bathroom were updated and very neat and clean. Wonderful place to stay!

Good location close to town centre. Recently renovated so good quality room and bathroom. Everything was good apart from lack of sound proofing between the floors. We could hear (muffled) conversation and movement in the room above us.

The owners and staff were absolutely amazing. They were so accommodating as we were getting married at the end of our stay with them. Our room was very clean bright and well decorated. Parking was very convenient. The location was very central to everything. If we ever end up in fort william again that’s the only place we will stay.

For our 24 hour trip up to Glen Coe and Ft. William, the Maclean Guest House was the perfect overnight stay. Brandi at check-in was lovely and full of suggestions. She was able to quickly accommodate a last minute change in our plans. Clean, comfy, and relaxing night!

Very good check in and helpful host for hikes

Great location with parking close to High Street in Fort William. Hosts seemed friendly. Beds were pretty comfortable and firm. Could hear the upstairs guests walking around and their plumbing, but it wasn't too bad. Great place for the price.

Wonderful stay and they were very accommodating when we were going to arrive late

Super close to the quaint pedestrian street in Fort Williams which was nice. Room was large and clean. Space to park. Wished we had stayed here longer but it was a one night stay taking in as much of the Highlands as we could. Would definitely recommend.

In a small town but excellent place - super clean and does the job in a place where there are not too many hotels. Wish there was less noise from the cars in your room is facing the busy street, but this place is great for price.

Very clean, well decorated room. Bed was incredibly comfortable. It might not have all the facilities of a hotel, but it had everything I wanted at a very reasonable price. Thoroughly recommended.

Super clean and extra quiet. Perfect for resting up before hiking Ben Nevis

A one night stop over and we wasn't disappointed! Met at the door with a friendly face making you feel so welcome and that's before you even get to the rooms. We was super surprised with the size of the room and the comfort of the beds, extremely clean, pleasant smell around the house and great bathrooms. It was a shame to leave so early for the train but we will be back. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Loved the room and the staff! Everyone very helpful and friendly. We did the steam train, so picked this property due to convenient location almost directly across from train. Walking distance of other area shopping and restaurants. Very clean room. A little noisy from the street with car traffic, so if sensitive to that they do provide ear plugs. Otherwise, highly recommend this place as a great stay! Beautiful area, great location!

This was a newish building and the sound traveled a lot. The people that stayed in building during our visit were not loud but noise traveled too much and disrupted us and our sleep. Beds were not comfortable either. Location was a easy walk to town and staff was helpful upon our arrival. Would not recommend.

Great central location for wonderful hiking options and delicious food nearby

Everything was wonderful. The only thing that would have made it better is a mirror over the desk in order to blow dry and style your hair. There are no electrical outlets in any bathroom in Scotland! So a mirror in the room is a must. But other than this, the room was fabulous.

We found the Maclean Guest House perfect for our stay in Fort William. We liked the off-street parking, and found access to the town center, train station, groceries, and Ben Nevis perfect. We also appreciated the onsite staff, property security, and little extras like paper plates and silverware available if needed. Highly recommend.

Clean and updated . No breakfast , yet probably could have had similar accommodations that included breakfast. Was trying to support local vendors.

Spacious for 3 adults. Large bathroom. We were on the 3rd walk up which would be difficult to carry up suitcases if you were elderly. Room was too warm for sleeping. We did crack the window but didn’t open it due to rain. Very clean & quiet except for road noise.

Very well appointed property. Clean and modern. Great central location, parking, easy to find, friendly and welcoming staff. Flat screen smart tv; beverages; mini fridge; great shower. The only drawback is that there is no breakfast provision but you know this when you are booking it. Highly recommended.
