Hotel or hostel? Not sure! Nice looking place on the "beach", but apart from that, we were not impressed. The "beach" is not really a beach and the water is not very clear and there are a lot of seaweed at the bottom. Only two of the sunbeds are for free, otherwise there's a minimum spend - even if you're a guest at the hotel. The service at the restaurant/beach club was terrible, we had to wait for 30 minutes just to get asked what we wanted to order, and then 40 minutes for the food to arrive. Another 30 minutes to get the bill. The food was okay. The location is outside the city centre, but that was not a big deal for us. Taxi to the centre is quite cheap. The worst part about this place was the loud music on the beach club almost all day and night. We stayed during the weekend and even though we read it woul be loud, we were not prepared HOW loud. We were also unlucky and got a room right infront of the club. If you like to party and stay up late, this is the place for you, but if you're looking for a more quiet and relaxing place, this is not it. The music got louder and louder from noon and out, and even though the party at the club ended around 1-2 pm, some guests decided to turn up the music in their room at 5am (not the hostel's fault, but the hostel attracts party people).

Great place to stay at for anyone between 18-35. If you are old and boring not the place for you. I had a blast, made me feel like i was in paradise.

Great looking property. Not very close to all the action in the mainpart of the Island, but nice place to relax, dine, and tan. Not as busy as the other parts of the beach. But great property.

Beware! This property is for young adults only looking for a place to shower and sleep. There are no nearby shops or restaurants to walk to but you can rent a golf cart for $50/day to get around the island. We only received 1 bath towel each (no washcloth or hand towel) and on day 2 we were down to 1 towel because house keeping only replaced 1, and by day 3 I hadn't thought to look and got out of the shower to no towel! We had 1 tiny bar of soap to share between shower and sink, a coffee maker but never any coffee pods, and 1 glass bottle filled with water from unknown location which was never refilled or replaced. The pool was a tiny above ground pool that was "freshwater" but was so murky you couldn't see the bottom. The Expedia site says breakfast is included in the rate, but it is not. When I asked about this, they said the statement on the sites was "a suggestion" whatever that means. Staff was very unhelpful overall. I would not recommend this place unless you are an actual nomad or wanting actual beach campgrounds.

It's important to note that this is a hostel, so even while paying hotel prices for a private room you are staying in a hostel. The private room was very simple but comfortable with a nice view, but the environment was nonstop beach party. While the music stopped at 10:30 pm the noise did not.

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Too loud of music almost every night, it’s a Hostel not a hotel it’s for College kids dorm

Our group of six absolutely loved Nomads! The hostel itself is beautiful, the drinks are delicious and we really appreciated the thoughtful design of the two private rooms we had booked. Mauricio and the staff at the Nomads food market were especially amazing - they went above and beyond and stayed open late to make us tacos the first night we got in...which made our stay especially memorable. The DJ music Saturday/Sunday night was also fire, and was greatly appreciated, especially during COVID as many bars and restaurants close early on the island. I would definitely recommend Nomads - it's the perfect place to stay on Isla Mujeres!

Stayed in a private room with private bathroom. Outdoor amenities are great - beach club and an amazing huge dog that goes out onto the water which was the highlight for me. Rooms are nicely sized with a good balcony and sturdy hammock. Nice decor in the room, very cool / minimalistic meets mid century modern. Downsides are no TVs in rooms and no fridge... staff made a fuss about not being allowed to bring alcohol onto the property too, not even for drinking in your own private room, which seems pretty unreasonable. Breakfast served out on the beach was basic but adequate.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It was a really good value for the location right on the beach, and the free breakfast that was actually pretty good. Front desk was very helpful, and yoga with Lorenza out on dock was a great way to start the day!

We were very curious to see exactly what was in store and it was very relaxing with an incredible setting. We will be back.

La vibra del hotel es maravillosa! Totalmente recomendado! Un lugar donde encontrar paz. Excelente servicio, especialmente Mauricio en la barra, me hizo sentir en casa.

Podrian incluir un pequeño transporte desde el embarcadero al hostel, con horarios pre-establecidos o con el pick up desde el embarcadero al hostel incluido en la tarifa y eso subiría mucho el raiting.Pero todo excelente.
