Perfect for our short stay. Location was super convenient. Breakfast was delicious.

Al and Paul were both fantastic hosts, the room was gorgeous and perfectly equipped. Thoughtful and anticipatory. Breakfast was outstanding. Yogi is a rockstar (ifkyk). Exactly what we hoped for. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Our stay was fantastic! The breakfast was amazing, the room was extremely comfortable, and the staff members were polite and helpful. The highlight was definitely having Yogi, the manager’s dog, hang around during breakfast. I would highly recommend the Wild Goose Inn.

We loved it. We were in town to visit our niece who goes to MSU and unfortunately we were only able to stay one night but we will now forever use this as our go to hotel when we come to MI to visit her. The owner, whose name escapes me was fabulous. He helped us make an itinerary for the day, which was absolutely perfect for us and we took full advantage of and also with a lovely lunch spot - the Black Cat Bistro (also very much worth a visit). We used all parts of the room - fire place, tub, shower, even the bathroom tiny balcony off the back. I was worried it would be loud being so close to campus but both my husband and I slept like babies. Unusual even for our own house, lololol! Breakfast was huge, delicious and filling. Highly recommend!

This adorable inn was the best hotel experience I’ve ever had within the states. We were greeted by an adorable assistant manager named “Yogi”, who instantly made the stay warm and inviting. The room was beautiful with a tub and balcony we never had to leave the property. The gentleman working was so friendly and accommodating, he made the stay feel more like we were visiting relatives instead of a hotel. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you so much for a desperately needed staycation.

Fantastic place to stay. The staff goes above and beyond in every detail. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and afford plenty of room to work. They are incredibly clean, well designed and the overall layout of the Inn makes for a very fun, charming and comfortable setting. I'd recommend this location to anyone I know.

Perfect central location next to campus. Everything was excellent from the room to the breakfast. The rooms are not only comfortable with full amenities but each room is unique and decorated with art the innkeeper has collected. One of the best bed and breakfasts I have stayed in.

Great breakfast and service

We spent two nights at the Wild Goose Inn and the experience exceeded all expectations, which were already high! The location of the B&B in in the heart of East Lansing, but you feel isolated from the surroundings. There are many great little shops nearby (including a killer record/music store) and many choices for lunch/dinner within walking distance. Al and Paul were wonderful hosts and did everything possible to make us feel comfortable. They were willing and able to answer our questions about the property and the area. Breakfast was delicious, in particular the muffins, which were out-of-this-world good. Oh, yeah, the room. You just can't ask for anything more. Ours had a private deck, which wasn't all that useful in the winter but should be spectacular in the warmer months. Inside there's a massive fireplace, relaxing hot tub, and very comfortable bed. We will most certainly be back.

Breakfast was SO GOOD. The themed rooms and location of the Inn next to campus made for a convenient stay. Perfect! We also enjoyed the welcome by Yogi, the house dog. Part of the charm of this house is the creaking floor boards and “old house” character. Be warned...that means some pipes banging in the middle of the night. But worth it to be able to park the car and walk everywhere we needed to go. Thank you!
