I wish I could give this hotel the highest ratings but there were some huge drawbacks for me. The property itself is amazing—very clean, luxurious, comfortable beds, beautiful pool and great staff. It’s the surroundings that left a lot to be desired. It was like they put lipstick on a pig—it’s VERY noisy, even with the windows being sound blocking, and *red flag* they actually give you earplugs on your bedside table, which tells you they know it’s super loud. Apparently the surrounding community has no mufflers on any of their cars/motorcycles, and they like to drive around the area just because. And then there’s the rooftop concert that was happening at their sister resort next door. I think if I were 30 years younger and still drinking a lot, this would be the perfect property. It is just steps from the beach, there’s lots of little food huts and people watching around, and live music. But if you’re looking for a relaxing stay, this is not it. We usually stay in Encinitas, and we will be staying there in the future. This was not it for me, sorry MPBR.

Awesome stay, can’t wait to return. The property is really nice, lots of places to just hang out and relax. The rooftop bar is great. Service was wonderful all around. The hotel and room were clean and really well decorated. The hotel is pet friendly and they did a great job supporting pet needs as well.

Great location. We had an oceanfront room that we could watch sunset from the balcony. The Michelin star restaurant Valle was amazing, and the rooftop bar was great. Plenty other restaurants within walking distance. It was a great stay.

Love this place I’ve stayed here a few times and won’t stay anyplace else while I’m in Oceanside. Staff is fantastic. Had an extra charge for the room bar and I don’t drink and it took a right off. Can’t wait to visit next year.

The hotel and staff went above and beyond during my stay with my fiancé. They always do Everytime I’ve stayed with them. Highly recommend this resort. The sister resort has a spa which was very nice. If you like the lively night life it’s a perfect location. An hour train ride from San Diego, so many food options. Stone brewery is a cute place 2 blocks away, every Thursday there is a street fair. Always a pleasure staying here!

I am unable to get around without a wheel chair or walker. I knew getting to the beach usually has issues but I can usually get there. Not this time. first theres a very busy street blocking the way, then the only way to get to the beach is going up a very steep driveway which my spoouse had to push me upand once there, you can only go so far I was unable to walk on the beach because there were too many obstacles in the way. we paid for a ocean front room but ( the photos were not realilistic and gave those in my position no way to see the true situation. i did appreciate the chairs and umbrellas and appreciate the help from the young workers. But that doesnt help the frustration I had on this trip. I wont be back

Amazing O'Side location. Across the street from the beach. Loved the vibe at the hotel and coffee shop. Pool is not family friendly and would improve if their was a time families could hang out. Could improve their valet as well

Very disappointing the pool and hot tub was located on the same level as rooftop bar. Not a great place fir kids.

The only downside was the parking. The choices are either (very expensive) valet or a crappy parking lot across the street-positive note is that you meet really fun people at midnight when validating your parking! Otherwise, I would say this was the best hotel stay and most beautiful property I’ve stayed at!

We love the staff and the grounds. But our favorite is that Mission Pacific and Seabird are joint properties and we get the benefits of having access to both.
We highly recommend others to stay and enjoy the surroundings with being across from the beach and the enjoyment of all that is available from restaurants and local businesses near by. We will be back again in the fall!

Beautiful and high end experience. We went during a crazy busy time , so beach seemed over packed, but staff were great, respectful, and gave us the VIP treatment. In room dining was delicious and very high end quality. Mission provided great extras for beach rentals and convenient for all residents. Great stay! Can’t wait to come back again

It was an amazing stay. We loved how close everything was to the hotel. The beach, local coffee shops, and a great donut place were walking distance. Great service by every staff member we came into contact with. Loved it so much we extended our stay another night.
