The only complaint and not the fault of the hotel but a person was screaming “help” loudly for some reason. Also heard a lot of running in the hall.

The room was clean, functional, and as described. Service was excellent, efficiently run. Parking was included, and good coffee in the morning. Didn't have the breakfast but continental if you wanted. Good location to cruise Cincinnati's OTR district.

The hotel is in a convenient location in downtown Cincinnati. All of the events downtown are walkable. We felt safe the entire trip. There are two areas of concerns. The first is the valet parking was not really available as multiple cars were stacked up in front of the hotel waiting for service that did not appear to work with any sense of urgency or efficiency. Fortunately, there is a parking garage next door that did work well and was much less expensive. Secondly, the traffic noise at night was significant. Apparently, some of the locals like to cruise loud cars and motorcycles downtown on the weekend.

We selected this hotel because it was the most reasonably priced. We didn’t expect it to be such a great find! Our room was outstanding. Clean, spacious. The service was fantastic from valet to check-in to breakfast to check-out. The location was great. We walked to dinner and then to Heritage Arena for our concert. We will absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend. And Bonus! They accept pets! We saw several dogs with guests.

The hotel staff was horrible. Shown one room, sold a different room. When to discuss it with the staff and they started arguing and berating me.

We stayed downtown Cincinnati to go to concert. Location was what we mainly were interested in. We were able to get extra comforters and blankets to accommodate all our folks and valet. Parking was easy.

I arrived at 6am and was hoping to have a really early check in... The first rep did not know how to do an early check in for that early of a time, so I waited until 7pm where someone else easily accommodated me!!! After a red-eye I was able to get some shut eye!

I had read several reviews about the staff at this hotel and everyone was right! They are amazing!! So friendly and welcoming!! I even overheard a conversation where a gentleman forgot his lint roller and they helped him problem solve by giving him some tape! That is truly above and beyond customer service!! We also stayed on the street side and some of the reviews mentioned noise. It was not bad at all! Compared to other large cities I have visited the noise was nothing!

We booked a double bed room and they assigned us for king and said that they only had a king bed available. We told them we booked a double bed and that we wanted to move into the right bed that we reserved and then the front desk lady was half shouting at us that they cant do anything about this situation.
Then she asked if we wanted a sofa bed which we said yes to because we didnt want to move the hotel we were too tired. And at the end they meant just the sofa, not a sofa bed to sleep on …. Sofa didnt fit our height and one of us ended up sleeping on the floor which we definitely didnt sign up for.
Will never be returning for this service. Terrible

I called to see if I check in early on the day of my check in. I was told no because they were booked the night before. I said fine but wasn’t told that I had a deadline of when I could check in. When I got there at 11:40pm I was told my room was canceled and was given to another guest. No rooms were available. The front desk person only has so much power and so many resources he can pull from. With no response from any of his upper managers and the timing of another guest checking out at almost 2am, he cleaned that room himself and gave us that room. How my room was canceled is still a mystery. I was still fully charged for my room and at no point in my stay did any of the daytime managers apologize for what happened the night before. No comps, no discounts, no anything. All hotels in the area were full booked too. So if it wasn’t for that random guest checking out when they did I’m not sure what the end result would have been.

Street facing rooms get a lot of traffic noise. The water is soft and so it's difficult to fully rinse soap off skin and hair. The staff was very kind and helpful. Convenient valet parking.

This place was overbooked so we were not able to get the room that we reserved. However, they are saying that its our mistake even though our booking page is correct. The front desk lady was nice at first but once we asked her about the room assign being a different room, she started to get very angry and wanted us to just stay in our room which is not the service nor the hotel we signed up for. Will never be returning to this hotel nor will be recommending this place to anyone

TownePlace Suites by Marriott proved the perfect home away from home during my stay in Cincinnati. The location and facilities were terrific, and the hotel's associates and staff were even better. When it comes to hospitality, people make the difference! And TownePlace Suites, Cincinnati has some of the best.

It was a very good location, price and newer. I am pretty sure there was an animal in the room at some point as my wife and I are both allergic. Not terrible, but annoying. Also, a previous occupant completely disconnected the HDMI cables from the TV. I was able to figure out and reconnect eventually, but someone in housekeeping should have recognized they were dangling out of the TV. Think housekeeping could have done a better job with the room inspection.

The staff were very friendly. However the room wasn’t as clean as I’d like. We noticed right before bed that one of the sheets was not clean. When we asked for the sheets to be changed the next day, the front desk said they would, but no one ever came. In fact, no one came to service our room at all. I never saw any housekeeping during the three days we were there. Aside from lack of cleanliness it was good?
