Bnb house is gorgeous and fully updated. It was walkable to downtown. My room (opera suite) was large and had an amazing bathroom with separate tub and shower. The backyard was like a fairyland. Breakfast at 9 each morning was fantastic, coffee, tea, juice, fruit, and your choice of about 9 different breakfasts. You won't go hungry. The hosts renovated the house themselves, it is beautiful. Parking was off street.

There was designated parking at the property. Fire pits and lounge area in the back yard was peaceful. Rooms were clean and beautiful. Breakfast made in the mornings were hearty and delicious- you will not need to eat another meal until dinner.

We had a wonderful weekend. Ken and Denise were wonderful host. Breakfast was truly delicious, we did not have to eat again until dinner. The room were beautiful. We would definitely go back.

Our stay in the Switchback Bed & Breakfast was fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The decor of the house, the features throughout, welcome cheese and wine, and breakfast were excellent touches. As if those features weren’t enough, the proprietors, Denise and Ken, are excellent hosts who care about their guests. If you are looking to stay in Jim Thorpe, look no further. The Trails End B&B will hit every mark. The location is perfect. You can park and walk to town. The beds are the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in outside of our own bed. And that’s hard to come by. The rooms are clean and charming but very updated. Ken makes an amazing breakfast. He makes perfection. You will not be disappointed. In fact, it will be hard to choose and you will be left wishing you could have stayed longer to try it all. He is very accommodating. He even told us where we could buy scrapple and said he’d cook it for us. Denise and Ken do not make you feel like you are a transaction. They make you feel welcome, like family. They want you to come back. They want you to be happy and enjoy your stay. From the moment we checked in and enjoyed some wine and cheese and got to chatting, to the moment we checked out and Ken made sure we had a to go breakfast, as we couldn’t stay to eat in, we felt taken care of. We chose to stay based on all the 10/10 reviews. They weren’t lying. This really is a 10/10 B&B. It will not disappoint.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Trail's End! Owners Ken and Denise are so kind and welcoming, taking every extra step to make their guests feel special. Wine, cheese, and crackers on check-in, home-baked treats daily, and delicious (huge!) made to order breakfast every morning. The location is about a 15 minute walk from the heart of town, giving the best of both worlds: convenience and quiet! The walk from town back to the B&B is uphill - bear in mind if any mobility issues! The B&B is spotless and beautiful, with enjoyable outdoor spaces, including two firepits. Guest rooms are private, safe, and comfy, and each has a TV and private bath. We would definitely return, and will certainly recommend Trail's End to others!

Ken and Denise were the perfect hosts. The property was filled with antique furniture and was exquisitely maintained. They met us with wine and cheeses, and had freshly baked goodies available at all times. Ken's breakfast menu was indescribable. Couldn't have asked for anything more!

We had a great experience here! Ken and Denise run a wonderful B&B and really know how to make their guests feel at home. The house was filled with beautiful antique touches and they go out of their way to make sure you have the amenities you could possibly need or want. From the welcome wine and cheese to the bountiful made to order breakfast, you couldn’t ask for a better experience. We’ve stayed at numerous B&Bs over the years and this was by far the best. Great stay. Super gracious and friendly couple run the b&b. 10 minute walk downhill to get to sites. Could be a difficult walk back to b&b for those with limited abilities, the hosts provided Uber contact info. Bed was super comfortable. Only negative-towels we’re small and not absorbent.

From when we were greeted to the time we left we had the perfect get-away. Ken & Denise are the perfect people to run a B&B. Rooms were perfect throughout the house. Our bedroom had everything we needed. Morning breakfast, not just continental but a full fledge home cooked made to order breakfast and it was amazing.
