The owner was very nice and helpful. The place was comfortable and clean. The breakfasts and supper were good and affordable. The view from the veranda was beautiful and a great place to eat. The air conditioner kept the bedroom at a nice temperature.

The bathroom was small and there was nowhere to hang the towels or facecloths or put your toiletries. The towel bar was not hung yet. The bathroom had nice tile but it was not done that well. The hot water for the shower was not turned on for our first night. There are many stairs to get to the residence.

I liked the price, cleanliness and the central location.

The lack of paving of the driveway.

Nico was super helpful and the brother, Dean, waited up to greet me when my flight was delayed. Nice touches like a fridge and complimentary tea and coffee. The room felt safe.

Be aware this is a room in the family home and it’s a very residential area you’ll need a car for. Frustrating that it had to be in cash. There was a payment issue and feel I was overcharged. The room wasn’t clean when I arrived. The bathroom smelt of old damp and the toilet paper bin wasn’t emptied during my 3 day stay.

Convenient location. Close to a small supermarket and bakery. The owners very kind and going out of their way to be helpful, e.g providing a suitable adapter for charging your (non-US) phone and transport to city center. The location was clean and quiet with facilities for tea or coffee-making in the room. Entertainment was provided by a smart-TV showing a wide selection of programs.
