I did not like the parking. It was limited and I did not want valet parking. The TV kept freezing up. But, the breakfast was good. Overall I give this stay 3 stars for average. I hope the above is used to improve the service.

So noisy outside- we were on the top floor and there were cars racing their engines till 3am also noise on the roof no maid service for 2 days. They mopped the elevators and left it wet and soapy slippery. Valet parking for $30 a day is annoying. The only things great was the breakfasts- that was excellent.and the beds were great.

The hotel is located near very good restaurants. Restaurant Dragonfly and Starbucks are right across the street, and Harry's and Liquid Ginger are within walking distance. The only issue is parking - a parking garage is nearby, but with luggage, patrons end up using valet service. You'll need to time your exit, keeping valet car fetch in mind.

Great location for restaurants and downtown Gainesville. Ate at the restaurant across the road both nights. On the DOWN side, the lively night life was a little too loud and lively...until 1:45am both nights with techno-pop music. The hotel offered white noise machines, which we did not realize until later. Also, the A/C was def not on the cool side.

This place was amazing! So much to do!

Really enjoyed our stay. The only 3 small hiccups and why I rated it a 4 instead of 5 were: 1-there were homeless people sitting across the street. Including a fully passed out man on the steps. 2-the coffee and breakfast line ran out of food and coffee 10 minutes before the scheduled time. 3-the bar accross the street had very loud music playing all night (but my Audible easily drowned the noise out).

Well, when we checked in, I was so excited where the Hilton and I unpacked all her bags like I always do into the drawers cause I knew we were gonna be there for at least a couple days put everything in the closet and then my fiancé passed out as soon as we got There I knew that something was going to go bad because everything works so smooth ha ha so after I put everything out in our closet in our drawers at the bed already we like it spread sprayed with Lysol. I'm going to the bathroom to go to the bathroom and there's literally like brown dots all over the wall the wall behind the toilet I'm like oh no that can't be what I think it is sure enough it was poop. It was all over the wall behind the toilet on the floor on the side of the cabinets, the side of the toilet and the front of the toilet on the other side of the toilet was disgusting so toilet was kind of clean, but it didn't even look that clean , but I didn't ruffle anybody's feathers so I didn't complain or anything but I did clean it up and it was gross. Luckily, I bring gloves and cleaner every Hotel we stay at just in case and I'm glad I did it this time. Also the poop that was on the wall it was hard and crusted under the wall. I just scrape it off with the scraper and I luckily had in my car. It was a disgusting. I told somebody at the front Desk to see if they cared, and she was like I'm by myself. I asked for towels with the towels she gave me we're back Rugs so not very fun, but the bed was the most comfor

Staff at the desk were fantastic, pleasant and friendly.
