The cabin was fine, nothing luxurious, but met our needs. It was a rather long walk into Helen & the way back is up a very steep hill, so we had to drive everywhere & paid to park, but it was fine. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook with & we used the gas grill a few times too. We really enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs, drinking coffee in the mornings.

The cabin is located centrally in the town of Helen, within walking distance of most of the city, and a short drive away from Unicoi State Park. The cabin itself was outstanding. We had an amazing time. Thank you!

Easy check in & out, close to town but far enough out for piece and quite, no issues at all.

There were no instructions ANYWHERE in the cabin. The next morning, you did send a service person to help us get connected, which he did!! The floors were not cleaned well. When we arrived, we found sand and dirt on the living room and bedroom floors downstairs. On our last day at the cabin, as we were packing up our things, I even found a pair of soiled lady's underpants, in plain view, on the floor behind the dresser!!! (There is a big open space behind the dresser where the two inner walls meet at a 90-degree angle! It probably fell out of someone's suitcase! BUT NOT MINE!!! Although we had originally planned on having four people in the cabin for our three-night stay, it ended up being just the two of us. That may have been a good thing, because the ONE thin 2-inch square bar of soap that was in the bathroom when we arrived, would not have been nearly enough soap for four people to shower or bathe and wash hands for three nights!! That one bar of soap was barely enough for the two of us!! Like I wrote at the beginning, the cabin is cute, warm, and cozy!! With a better clean-up job done after each group leaves, AND, when more than two people stay for 3 or more nights, more than one thin two-inch square bar of soap is needed, AND, last, but not least, directions for connecting to the wi-fi should be displayed on the wall in the living room where it can be easily found! Helen is a fun place to visit, eat, shop, and explore!! We did enjoy our stay in Helen!!!

Cabin was in a great location within walking distance to Helen. We happened to book during the Helen Christmas Parade and enjoyed all the shops and restaurants before watching the parade, then we’re able to walk back without having to deal with the traffic and parking in town.

Reviewer Comments: There were many informational sheets as to the access to WiFi, sanitizing practices that sounded good, but the actual cleanliness and access were not consistent with what was stated in the disclosures. Excessive dirt, hair and trash under the bed and furniture. There was a “sanitized” tissue over the seat of the toilet, but dark mildew rings under the seat. There was mold around the faucets and dust and buildup on the countertops and cobwebs. The marketing pictured a jetted tub that was non-functional.

This cozy cabin was clean, comfy and close to the activities in Helen, GA. And the property owners provided A+ customer service. We really enjoyed our stay.

Cab was dirt and had a terrible smell like some animal was dead underneath, I put thermostat on 74 and never pass 71.. always to cold inside.. I checked out a day earlier, they showed no interest why I check out before time..

If privacy is a must-then this is not the cabin for you as it sits very close to three others. The cabin was clean and tidy. We chose it primarily for the spacious living space which had a sofa and a loveseat. The TV was SMALL and the living space could use more lighting. Our biggest issue was trying to identify the cabin being we arrived after dark. The small wooden sign under the porch was difficult to see even during the day.

Great place to visit and the cabin is near town walking distant. They are Pet friendly which is awesome for those who love to travel with rheir pets. The Cabin is clean and comfortable. We totally enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

We loved the porch with rockers. Woke up one morning with deer passing through. The big cabin furniture was very comfortable. We would stay there again when we return.

It seems that closer to town costs more and this cabin is a very short drive to town center. It had more room than I expected and was far better than a single hotel room for the same cost or more. Nice porch with swing and rocking chairs. Not secluded but didn’t expect that. Would have really felt better about it if the shower head and faucets were updated and newer flooring for the bathroom. All in all I feel it was a good rental and would do it again for the price but as I stated before... some small inexpensive touch ups would have made me feel much better.

Although the cabin was a little awkward and the grill didn’t work we had so much fun in the cabin and it’s super close to town so you can walk!! Thanks for the stay

A little hard to find the office and cabin but very nice clean place with sleeping loft everything you need for cooking meals very comfortable furniture beautiful area and just up the hill from quaint little German town of Helen Ga we highly recommend this place oh and pet friendly our papillon loved it too woof

My husband & I stayed here with our 2 dogs & it was very convenient to town & quite. There are 3 other cabins on the property & ample parking. We walked to town one evening & it is a 15-20 minute walk to the other side of town which we didn't mind. The only complaint (if you will) or warning is you will get an email to do an auto checkout. Once you do, your door code will no longer be active. I wanted to get some waters we left in the frig & did not know once you go through this, you cannot get back in. Thankfully nothing important left behind, but just a heads up.

The cabin was clean and comfortable. It was just far enough to from town to not hear town noises but minutes from Helan. The only down side to the cabin was the trash, every night the trash can was knocked over with the lid removed. Over all great stay and had great communication with GA mountain rentals.
