clean excellent staff

disappointed as the spa was not working - they said too expensive to run. Too expensive for a 3 star hotel with no facilities

the hole experience was fantastic . location was great and rooms even better .

My wife and I attended a friend's wedding at the hotel. The hotel staff made the happy couple's day extra special. The grounds where the wedding took place was beautiful and the food was excellent. Our apartment was spacious and luxurious. I am planning to hold a special birthday party there in the autumn.

I couldn't fault a thing.

The cleanliness and friendliness of staff

Reception for checking in and out was a little strange - just a desk in the corner of the bay window. the waiting staff mixed up the breakfast order 4 times - very disorganised. we felt that the stay was overpriced.

This is a marvellous hotel: comfortable bedrooms and lounges, elegant, well thought-out, plenty of life in the evening and calm during the day; it's very well managed and the staff are efficient but unrushed.

The dining room is large; it could be a little warmer in the morning.... Unfortunately, the spa was not in operation due to .....

Staff were excellent went over and above loved having the bottled water and Diet Pepsi in the room . Food was delicious and of excellent quality with great choice . Loved the fire in reception area. Really made us feel welcomed especially Tilly our little pug

The food was delicious, interesting recipes and very well presented. The rooms were spacious, very clean and comfortable. There was a pleasant sitting area so you could have after dinner drinks in comfort. The staff were very welcoming, helpful and prompt with service

Slightly disappointed having booked two room they were near each other. This was offered on arrival but we didn’t want to make things awkward and it didn’t cause a problem. Just felt a bit odd.

I booked a night away with my girlfriend and really liked the look of lanes hotel. The hotel was superb. The staff were excellent.

The room was lovely but just needed some final touches. Unfortunately the room had a lot of ladybugs behind one of the blinds.

We had a fabulous weekend with friends to celebrate a 50th birthday. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly snd made us feel very welcome. The hotel is lovely and clean. Modern decor inside and the bedrooms were well equipped and very comfortable. Would recommend this hotel.

The location in relation to our wedding venue was amazing! The staff were lovely, really friendly and nice. We ate in the restaurant one night too and the food was amazing!! Beautiful grounds and our room was LUSH!

On the first night we stayed there, a drunk guest (not the hotel’s fault) kept trying to get into our room (at least five times) and unfortunately there was no one to contact to get him removed or help him locate the correct room. We had our 10 year old daughter in our room and she was very distressed to say the least. Also it was the night before my wedding day so a bit annoying to be woken up at 2am!!! Thankfully my makeup artist worker her magic! The only other thing, which is more of a suggestion, we stayed in the penthouse suite and it was beautiful, however, because it is in the roof space, the ceilings and windows were quite low and there was no hook or rail to hang my wedding dress on. There was a wardrobe, but my train was quite long. I imagine other bridal parties book this room so a hook or something, would be really useful.

Lovely little hotel, perfect for a night away celebrating our friends wedding. The whole place was really clean, staff were friendly and the room was lovely too. Good breakfast options, good bar prices, plenty of space to sit and enjoy a drink.
