Good place to stay but we came in at Dulles airport but it is so much closer to fly into Reagan airport.

Solid hotel but not memorable visit due to many flies and mosquitoes

This is conveniently located, comfortable hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and had great recommendations about the surrounding area. Our stay was great!

I liked that the hotel was close to public transportation.

Excellent food in the restaurant at the hotel

This is a very nice property. Starying to show signs of age. It's easily walkable to the Metro Station. Other than that, there's nothing around it except other hotels and apartment buildings. The shower leaked everywhere at the shower head. You could hear sounds from the neighboring rooms. Staff was nice. Bar staff was not very attentive - pretty sure I watched someone walk out on their check in disgust.

Parking is more expensive than the parking garage near the hotel.

I just needed an airport hotel for two nights and didn’t expect much. But the hotel was really dated. The rooms definitely need an update. Everything seems old and filthy … it’s not even badly cleaned but there is only so much cleaning you can do when everything is falling apart. Expected more from a crown plaza.

Easy to walk or drive to areas from this hotel. Underground parking to keep vehicles safe. Area is quiet with some food options and basic shopping.

Having stayed at Crowne Plaza around the globe (Bahrain being my favorite!), I was a little underwhelmed by this experience. It presents like a budget convention center hotel, but without any luxury or on-site amenities like a pool, spa, or a variety of eats. The brand pricing isn't adjusted for the missing luxuries you might be accustomed to at this chain, which means you'll pay even though they're missing. Plus, be warned: this location charges $44/day to park your vehicle...which can be a shocker when the online booking app simply says "parking available" like all the other places with free parking. Overall the staff were kind and responsive to our needs, but I'll definitely stay somewhere with more amenities to offer me at that price point.

Great location, walkable to coffee shops, restaurants, and the Metro. Easy access into DC. Spacious and comfortable room. Helpful staff. The free airport shuttle is a great bonus.

There is NO airport shuttle from Dulles IAD to Crowne Plaza. We had to pay an additional $60 dollars to get here. The check in experience was not good. For Elite members this was terrible. The room is basic and for $240 for one night this is overpriced. There’s a small corner shop but the website makes it look much bigger. CVS is around the corner! Front desk also challenged the booking when it was correct. Decided to leave instead of booking more nights.

When we arrived they didn’t know we were coming. They had a hard time finding our reservation. They gave us a room with no fridge. The hotel wasn’t clean the carpet looked like it had not ben vacuumed and floors looked like they hadn’t been mopped well.

Great location near restaurants and offices. Close to DCA. Rooms are large and comfortable, but the property could use an update in general. Staff is friendly and helpful.

It’s kind of outdated for the area, the rooms and bathrooms could use some updating there are scratches on headboards and the bathrooms aren’t the cleanest. The location of the property is perfect if you want to go to DC but not stay in DC. It’s walk able to all public transportation stations. Multiple restaurants are walkable as well as life music.

The location of the hotel was near the Ronald Regan airport and a close walk to the Crystal City metro. Check-in was quick. King-sized bed was comfortable. Restaurant was decent.

Great location! Across from the meteo. 15min walk to a lot of food choices. Room was comfy!

I enjoyed my stay

I have visited the hotel a few times and i’m always happy with the hotel location, the clean rooms and the friendly staff.

It had a parking garage that cost around $45/ night. I didn't realize that before booking there and may have considered other options if I did, so throwing it out there for others to consider. Room was okay, but a bit on the smaller side. Decent view from the window. Place has a breakfast buffet with servers to bring drinks and stuff if you buy the breakfast add ons while booking.

Great hotel just outside of the center of DC, but the nearby metro station puts all the sights of the city within just a few stops.

Upon arrival I noticed the sheets were not changed and had stains on them. Bathroom wasn’t cleaned at all, there was urine from prior guest on sides of the toilet floor, also a lot hair in the bathroom.

The hotel staff communicated very different information about the hotel shuttle. We were told originally that it was wheelchair accessible, when in reality it wasn't. We were told originally that the shuttle runs 24/7, then another staff member said from 4.30am-midnight, and then another one said from 4.30am-11.00pm. We were at the airport at 10.30pm and waited until 11.30pm and we didn't see a single Holiday Inn shuttle. When we asked the hotel to call an accessible taxi last Friday, they did but a taxi never came. We waited almost an hour and I checked in frequently to find out if we should keep waiting. The staff member at the reception was very short with me, and not very supportive. She later helped to call a regular taxi. It took 70minutes to leave the hotel. The bed at the hotel is way too high for any wheelchair user. It is impossible to get into the bed independently. This needs to change. All it takes is to replace the few mattresses with a mattress half the size and the room will actually be accessible and comply with ADA regulations. We are disappointed in this property.
