The pillows had mildew on them. The floors were dirty. The lamps were covered in something that looked disgusting. We only had 2 towels for 4 people.

It was a decent hotel for a rally my co-workers and I attend. At first, the receptionist couldn’t find my booking but they did. Their breakfast consisted of you making your own waffle, bread for the small toaster. I was surprise they didn’t have more than apple juice.

The staff is great! Love the waffles. Only thing i would say is pay more attention when cleaning.. Work on the smell of the rooms and change the lamps but overall noce property will stay again.

We had ants at the bathroom sink, the first two nights . Thought we had killed them all the first night, didn’t say anything the second night they where in my pill case and had alot more. They moved us without any problems to a different room and had not problem.

Floor are sticky and dirty, neighborhood doesn’t seem safe, staff started “cleaning” our room before we even officially checked out. If you can, pay more and go somewhere better. Not a ‘family friendly’ “hotel”.

This hotel is poorly ran and absolutely disgusting. One of our rooms literally had people staying in it already and was completely trashed. Our non smoking rooms smelled like smoke.

I was greeted by 'V' when I checked in, and he was real nice. Provided me with extra coffee straight away.
Beds were decent, better than some hotels I've stayed at.
Phone never worked the whole time I was there which was five days. A/C didn't work first day but they got it fixed right away.
It's a sad thing that they are doing away with their pool especially in a hot state like Alabama where it's over a hundred degrees.
All in all, I would stay here again but my only advice is that a little more care to housekeeping be looked at. Something was splattered all over the wall which was a little disgusting.

The stay was not horrible for a budget hotel
however if you are going to say the breakfast is included from 6a-9a and we go at 8:10 just to have a rude staff lady tell us she don't have time and we can go buy our own breakfast is really upsetting. if it were not for her we would rate this hotel; much higher... plenty of the Latina staff told us that she is always like that with employees and customers but nothing seems to be done about it.

Lamp shade dirty and rusty. NO SMOKE DETECTOR in room. Floors nasty. . Had a spill wiped up with towel. Towel was black. Only two bath towels for a room that 4 could stay in. Only one roll of toilet paper. Breakfast was a joke. Toast, muffins , cereal. Would not come back to this place again

The room was dirty , had a garbage can on counter for ice and was dirty, one plastic cup,microwave dirty, someone had used and left food all over door and tray, remote backing was off, ask for a replacement and was refused, they sent the housekeepers back in but it didn't help.NO COFFEEMAKER NO ANYTHING TO ACCOMMODATE GUEST IN ROOM.

I was locked out of my room from midnight until almost 5am because i couldn't get a room key made because there was noone there even answering the phone. Had my kids been with me and i couldnt get to them bc I couldn't get a room key made.....could easily happen with staff nowhere in sight for majority of the night

Excellent stay, clean and spacious rooms… safe and quiet area outside of Montgomery… it was very inexpensive, and bonus is that dogs stay free and have lots of green space around for them! Highly recommend this older property that seems very well run by owners and staff

It was run down and some what dirty. Dust all over, dirty floor, and to top that off I had to ask for micro oven that was in working order. Then three quarters thru my stay the toilet stopped working.

The bathtub mat was peeling around the edges and the tub was nasty. We didn't take a shower because of that. And the bathroom had a bad smell. I won't stay again.

The beds & room were comfortable, clean. The bath tub needs work. There is a mat inside the tub that needs to be redone. There were no amenities. No luggage rack, no hangers for the closet, no coffee pot. They came in while we were out and emptied the trashcans and replaced towels. Did not make beds. It was an okay place to stay but I will probably chose different hotel next time.

This location did not represent the general reputation of Red Roof hotels. This facility needs major upgrades, repairs and maintenance. I would not recommend or stay here again. This location was more like a motel used for unseemly activities. The best I can say is there were many food businesses in the area.

I booked this room 3 weeks ago. I knew I would have a late arrival so I confirmed my room on the road. The person I spoke with said no problem it would be ready. It was not.
I waited over 15 minutes and was put in a room
that was freshly painted and there was paint splatters everywhere.The TV remote had no batteries. It was quite obvious this room was not ready to be occupied.We stayed here last year and it was great.
We will never stay here again and I don't recommend it.

Room 111 was hard to get to for husband on walker. When asked for a room change was told “only upstairs”
Now maybe the motel really was full - but it didn’t appear to be so last thing at night on Friday.

The safety latch on the door was broken. The bathtub was nasty. There was extensive damage to the tub and the owners glues down a mat to try and cover the damage. We could still see the nasty brown streaks. There was hair from previous people in the sink, on the counter and in the tub. Breakfast was toast, English muffin and coffee. No fruit, juice or milk. The waffle maker was broken.

My stay was pretty good there. A few things could be updated like the bathtubs and get new bedding because there were a few stains on the sheets and covers but overall not a bad place at all. It’s close to everything.

We enjoyed the close proximity to Bass Pro and the Waffle House. The room is much better than many other hotels for the price. Only a couple minor room concerns.
