Maybe not the fanciest hotel in town. But, excellent staff that really makes me feel welcome. Service minded and helpful. Traveling alone I feel safe at this hotel. The room is nothing special, but has everything I need, comfortable bed, chair, desk, etc. Good internet so I could sit and work. The restaurant is easy acessibal and, once again, excellent service minded personel. The location is close to everything but far away enough to not be disturbed by loud nightlife.

My wife and I found this hotel to be quite comfortable. We almost didn’t book because of the bad reviews but I’m glad we took the chance. We stayed in the Intimate Queen Room. Although the room was small and perfect for a solo traveller, it was suitable for both of us as we travelled light with a single suit case. The bed was very very comfortable and the shower was decent. There’s a fridge but no microwave (you can request one if needed). The location was great ! Almost all the points of interest and restaurants was well within a 20-25 mins walk, some as close as 10 mins! You’re also about 2 mins walk from a Tims, Starbucks and a Second Cup! The hotel has parking for $25/night. There’s a 5’8” height restriction, anything bigger than a sedan will be a bit tight but not impossible. The parking is at the immediate right turn after the hotel. Someone was there to guide to the location which was helpful! It also has in/out privileges. The hotel isn’t wheelchair accessible, you do have to climb 4 steps to get inside. The staff were very polite and friendly. The hotel in general was clean and welcoming. Our plan in Ottawa was to explore the capital by day and have a good restful sleep at night. We were able to do exactly that. This and the other reasons mentioned above, we will definitely recommend to others.

Hassan was welcoming. Showed us into parking garage. A very enthusiastic person who likes people.

On arrival we found out is a $25 taxes for parking, which is located in the back alley unsecured. The shower water pressure is low and takes awhile for the hot water.

It was a great stay, the front desk helped us navigate parking fast and were very friendly. Our room was great, would definitely book again.

Great hotel with a great view! Customer service was amazing and my wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The room was extremely clean and tidy!

Positive: Very good location. Walkable to all attractions. Friendly staff. Good breakfast available. Neutral: On site parking is very tight but it is still a covered parking with security code to enter. Subjective negative: The bedding is premium but mattress and pillows were too soft for us side sleepers. We got stiff necks after sleeping. Important note to Expedia: your phone number of this hotel is incorrect. I tried to contact them a couple of times and it went on an answering machine. I never got a call back. When I went to the hotel, I saw that the staff does pick up the phone. Then I realized the phone number may be wrong and I checked against hotel website. Phone number provided at Expedia is incorrect. Please correct that.

Great bed, soo comfortable. We wanted to shrink it and take it home.

Stayed here for the price point and location. Parking is very limited in the back and not very accommodating for larger vehicles. Small lobby with lots of foot traffic. Good location. Close to Elgin Street, Parliament Hill, the Rideau Canal and the Rideau Centre. No view and no microwave in the room we had. We also gotba complimentary upgrade to a King Room because the door lock on our first room wouldn't disengage and we couldn't open the door. Comfortable bed and furniture. Streaks on the mirrors in the tiny elevators. Lobby floors get a lot of dirt brought in from the street.

Staff great, if you’re staying there, there should be a policy that at least one spot for each room if you’re bringing a car, increase car park spaces to accommodate so it will be first come first serve

The perfect place to stay if you want to venture out on foot. Our stay was quiet, clean and safe. The staff was amazing and quick to answer questions and offer help. We will definitely stay here again the next visit to Ottawa.

I've been looking forward to coming back to The Arc after a visit roughly a decade ago. The hotel didn't disappoint. Very comfortable, well-located, and good value for money. The Front of House staff, especially the door man, are lovely, welcoming people.

Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful for our short stay. Location is perfect.

It’s been quite a while since I’ve stayed at Arc The Hotel and it has really changed. It’s definitely run down and the rooms could use an uplift. I would also say that the lack of towels in the run was a bit odd.
