Love my room and daily cleaning.

Not happy with the service from the beginning upon checking in. I had booked a 2-bedroom suite with a King and 2 double beds; also called four days prior to arrival to confirm room type. Upon arrival, they were unable to accommodate the preferred room and was put into an ADA room with no way of changing anything. Not happy with the service from the front desk unfortunately.

While this hotel can be pricey (4 nights parking was $280) this hotel is definitely worth it. It’s a beautiful hotel with nice apartment /condo style rooms and is close to everything.

Great stay! We would come back!

My family and I had a wonderful stay on property. The staff was very welcoming. The only issue i had was with check in. The wait time and how long it took to bring up my reservation. Also, when i called housekeeping for more dish washer soap and towels it took a long time and i had to call back a second time, which was when they sent it. Ither than that it's a great place to stay and I would definitely go back.

Wonderful property and staff. Very walkable with kids. Exorbitantly expensive though, like everywhere in Waikiki. Really enjoyed our stay.

Staff we're accommodating and friendly. Came early to drop off our luggages since check in was still at 4pm. Upon reviewing our reservation the front desk was able to check us in. Such a good convenience for my family which we appreciated.
Facility was well maintained and clean.
Everything is near this area, a mall is also nearby.
I would return to this hotel with my family.

I loved the location and how everything you needed was on property. 2 issues that weren't a huge deal 1. A few times during the day the elevators would not stop to take you down. We realized a hack that was to push the up button, ride it up then back down. We waited for more than 11 minutes one time to get down.
2. the pools are too small for that big of a property. It was next to impossible to find a pool chair. And pool service would be nice too.
Othewise we had a great stay. Our room had everything we needed as it had a full kitchen. We would stay there again despite the pool and elevator situation.

This is a great choice for families. The location is unbeatable and the condo setup has many advantages over a standard hotel room. However, the experience can seem a little impersonal because the village is so large.

We loved our room and the facilities at the property, including the washer, dryer and full kitchen. The Paradise pool and lagoon were clean and fun. The location in Waikiki is very convenient. We look forward to coming back!

Front desk very abrupt , kept calling at 10am to vacate us by saying cleaning was waiting for us but wasn’t true . Not comfortable place, no restaurant or room service . I was very unhappy with our stay
Dirty hotel ! Old view was partial. It’s a lie to be Hilton honors or Hotels gold , all was useless !

The room was great! We're a family of 4, but were able to make 2 double beds work for us. It was so nice to have a kitchen and a view from the balcony too. Hanging out in the room was nice, and then stepping out had so much to do!

The view, the location, Oceanfront amd beach views from our room was absolutely amazing.
So many places to take pictures.
Amazing experience.
Even though I still give this resort a 5 stars., I only have one small blemish.
I wish I could have had 3 beds in our two room suite.
I understand It may not have been available, but it was one of the reasons why I chose this place. I tried calling in advance, and was told to wait at check in.
Perhaps making it available to choose at the time of booking could fix this. The Manager seemed to be powerless in solving the issue.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this place!

We stayed for 1 week in a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom suite. Overall the room was very nice and met our needs. We did have to call maintenance on 3 occasions, once for the icemaker not working, then the dryer wasn’t working, finally the room blew a fuse and we had several tvs/lamps not working. They came quickly to fix these items, but rather inconvenient.
The biggest hassle however was the parking garage. We were told to use our room key for access in and out. This maybe worked 3x, and then we constantly got stuck as it would not work. Sometimes there was someone working the garage to help, but several times we would get stuck, holding up a large line of cars and couldn’t exit until someone came to fix the problem. This was extremely aggravating and inconvenient. I would never want to have a car in this building again. It made us want to avoid driving anywhere just to avoid the hassle.

My family and I stayed here for the 2nd time and with kids, the Grand Waikikian Resort was such a perfect stay for us. This particular tower has ALL the amenities that is necessary for a family of four and two little kids. Full kitchen, washer and dryer IN our unit, sofa bed, and full-size bathroom. And not to mention the day we checked out, there is a full lounge rest area on the 8th floor where you can stay if you do happen to have a late flight. And not to mention the Hilton Village is a little town itself so we really didn’t have to leave the property throughout our trip. An added bonus to the Hilton property, the lagoon was so convenient for the little kids. Shallow, secluded, very kid friendly. Only downside, the pricing on lounge chair/umbrella or any rentals for the water will be very pricey. But will be staying here in the near future !

The room we got was just perfect and the resort is always great .

We happened to pick the Grand Waikikian, which appears to be one of the nicer ones…I can see why other guests commented on some buildings being old and outdated. Ours was nice, we chose it for the private room and kitchen/laundry. I agree parking is an absolute joke but it’s the same story at every hotel in the area. A private condo air bnb would be a better choice just for the designated parking space included—I would probably do that next time instead of staying at a resort.
Definitely tons of people around, but tough to find anything staffed and kind of reminded me of the COVID days. Lots of food places and pools, but always seemed to be closed or staffed by teenagers that hate their lives and will speak just enough to tell you they’re not open yet.
Don’t be tempted by the resort’s “20 restaurants” onsite…most are old and dirty, food is crazy expensive but “meh”, and staff lazy and unfriendly. We had better food and service at the food truck by the lagoon and so many other places in the city that don’t make you feel like they just punched you in the face and stole your wallet.
Staff at the front desk were very friendly and professional. But if you want anyone else to be nice to you during your stay, it’s probably going to cost another $69/night plus tax.

Great clean hotel but restaurant did not have 1/3 of the menu items and staff seemed apathetic to customers needs

We loved our stay at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Grand Waikikian tower room 2602 in February 2024. Our room was gorgeous- 2 bedrooms & 2 bathroom ocean view room. We had ocean views from both balconies, one facing forward and the other towards Diamond Head. We did have buildings in front of us but we still could see the ocean and the fireworks on Friday. The room was luxurious. We liked the Kitchen. The room was ready for check in 2 hours earlier than expected.
If I stayed in Waikiki again I would stay at the other end of the Waikiki beach as there is more restaurants and things to do down that end. The HV was beautiful but the food and drinks were very expensive on the property and not many other restaurants near by. Goofys cafe outside the HV property had wait times of 1 1/2 hours in the mornings.

I have used this property many times, but in this time the worst experience ever!
Resort is great, only Grand Waikikian front desk staffs were horrible and ruined my vacations and BD.
Choose different buildings like islander you have many options in this resort. I will never use Waikikian again!
Grand waikikian charged another resort fees everyday even though already including the price on Expedia. It was not charged from another buildings, only Grand Waikikian charges double and secret, so watch out!

This property was absolutely perfect! Room was spacious and updated. Pools were a bit crowded but the beach was just a few more steps away. Would definitely visit this same property again!

The couch in the living room was itchy and something bitted when I sat in the couch during my stay for bugs or ticks, causing my skin to swell. My nephews and I have been through these pains, and the quality of the sampoos and conditioners in the bathroom is so bad that I am suffering from hair loss after my trip

We had a great stay here.
