I was comfortable here. The location was great. I was just annoyed bc it was obvious they didn’t actually clean the bathroom when they did housekeeping. The toilet began to smell after several days. It could’ve used a proper cleaning.

This was my fifth stay at this Hotel. Staff always accommodating. Included breakfast is excellent.
Only negative,,, sidewalk outside Hotel entrance full of potholes & uneven. Easy to trip & fall. Other Hotels nearby have repaired their sidewalks.

Stayed here to be near Rome Termini station. This was last hotel on extended 10 day trip around Italy. Room was updated and comfortable. Front desk service was prompt and excellent during stay. Was okay stay while traveling with party of 8, but would likely not stay here if it were just my wife and I, would opt for slightly higher end hotels in the area, but that being said, room had modern amenities we needed for two night stay in Rome.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location, right nearby the Rome Central Station and within walking distance to the Colosseum. There is a nice sauna/steam room with a gym and a wonderful rooftop bar with amazing views of the city. Hotel staff is welcoming and very helpful. I always try to stay here when I come to Rome and I highly recommend it.

Very clean, large room with two (!!) bathrooms. We chose this hotel for the proximity to Tremini Station and king size bed offered. Staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. Very clean hotel. Our room was very quiet as we crashed at 5pm with blackout curtains (jetlag!)
Didn’t get up to the rooftop bar which is disappointing (jetlag!)
Nice bedding with ample/multiple pillows. My pet peeve is when hotels do not refresh pillows regularly. This hotel actually offered a pillow menu!!! Didn’t need it as there were 4 on our bed and nice quality. Towels were also large, nice quality.

I felt like the hotel was nice. Being our first time in Rome, is was easy to navigate our way around. I would stay again and recommend the hotel to future guests. It was in walking distance to many wonderful places to eat and see. We felt very safe.

Best Western Plus Hotel Universo is well located and is reasonable. I would have liked to have breakfast included as it was an additional cost. There is no pool on the premises. Wifi was free and it worked well. Staff are busy with guests and they're not super friendly, just doing their job and not offering anything extra. The room was nice and had a machine for coffee/tea. I liked that they offer a shuttle from the airport for a fee. The driver waited for us and he sent me a message on WhatsApp. He drove super fast and roads were very bumpy. Shuttle to port was more expensive than the one we got ourselves. Overall, we were happy with this hotel.

The check in process was smooth, and our room was nice. Shout out to Marco at the front desk who was so friendly and helpful. He was pleasant to deal with and was always a friendly face when we would come back to the hotel after a long day of touring around the city.

There are lots of restaurants within a 5 min walk. Because of the mixed use and tight area, you can hear the deliveries early in the morning and lots of chatter late into the night from the street and restaurants below. Having said that, our room was very nice with a balcony. There is no side chair or sofa so when you are in your room, you are pretty much on the bed. Bathroom was very nice with a separate water closet. Staff was amazing- we took a red eye so having our room ready by 10am was much appreciated!

The train station five minutes away. The staff was excellent, super friendly. The facilities are very CLEAN! Going to the Vatican, It is pretty far, use the Metro A line. 24 hour ticket is €7.50. Has an elevator! I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

The location of the hotel is excellent, walking distance to everything you’d want to see in Rome and super close to the Rome main train station. The rooms are ok, we felt catfished by the pictures a bit - small rooms, nothing too nice. Staff was helpful!

We stayed here near the end of our trip. Close to Termini station. Property is dated and does not look like pictures online. We had a room beside elevator (a bit noisy) and elevator felt like it was going to break (slow and rickety). We had 3 rooms. Our shower did not drain and one room did have a smell, but both were resolved right away. Overall the location is decent, rooms are spacious, but not much around the immediate vicinity. We did not have the breakfast though the reviews were decent

Lovely staff, great location. Couldn't complain for what we paid to be honest. Staff such as the housekeeping noticed where there were issues and helped for us to find a resolution where required, so that was always lovely of them to help. Thank you!

The hotel was very clean and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Watering station was a huge success to fill our water bottles every day. That was a definite win being so hot. The hotel was walking distance to so many cafes, restaurants and shops! Loved it!!

For its location, it is great if you do not spend much time at the hotel during the day. The rooftop food was subpar. There was constant stomping from the above floors all 4 nights.
It was clean for the most part and included the majority of basic hotel room amenities. There is no screen on sliding glass door, which allowed bugs to enter if opened. The thermostat would not allow you to turn down, and in general was much too hot.
