We had paid for two rooms which were £900 a night, one for ourselves and then one for our friends
We arranged for gifts upon your arrival of our close friends when we booked in. Unfortunately we were booked in wrong rooms which spoilt the surprise
Matters went from bed to worse when we were going back to our room to be checked in and the lift broke down and we were stuck in the lift
Admittedly this could happen to anyone unfortunately, my wife has just had a knee replacement and we acted then walk back up three flights of stairs
At £900 a night for each room we did expect breakfast. However, this wasn’t included so we did pay extra for the breakfast
We noticed other guests in the room will be offered refills of coffees and extra extra food. Yet we were ignored for some reason.
The evening manager who came on duty after we can play in about our room being next to the extractor fans did manage to change rooms for us. He put a lot of effort in. Can’t remember his name but he was an Irish guy
Haven’t stayed in many hotels in the Mayfair area or five star. This one proved to be quite disappointing.

Hi, I liked the historical site , the staff so kind and the bedroom.
I would have liked to find a nespresso machine in the room, just to be indipendent in coffee time.

Absolutely fantastic Hotel and a new experience for me who usually stay at the Corinthia - The Connaught offers better location, smaller rooms at the same price point but cosier rooms. Ideal location, fantastic service and great food and bar options. The Concierge is probably the best in London.

Lovely room but a bit small for the price and the spa was a little disappointing but other than that everything was top notch.

Very disappointing - understandably priced due to location however it’s very dated and run down. Needs a lot of money spent on it for it to be the standard of a Mayfair hotel. Wouldn’t stay again. Originally had a room booked in the traditional side and requested to be changed to the contemporary side of the hotel which i was charged another lump sum for the same titled room.

This is one of my favourite London hotels. The location is second to none and the service is lovely. Although the rooms are starting to show their age a bit, they’re still lovely. My only gripes (and they’re small) are that they no longer have room toiletries from Bamford and their room service isn’t as good as it once was.

We both so enjoyed our stay at the Connaught, service was exceptional. The room was perfect. As soon as we walked into the hotel, the staff greeted us, actually outside of the hotel we were warmly greeted. The fragrance in the lobby was wonderful, and as we walked towards the elevators, there was another wonderful fragrance, coming from the Aman Spa. Our room was very nicely decorated, comfortable and spacious. The bathroom was also so nice. Love the shower, and bath soaps, robes and slippers.
We had breakfast in our room every morning, delicious, and we were sent a tasty gift because it was our anniversary.
All our needs were taken care of, and ALL the staff were friendly and polite, as well as very charming.
We would return in a heart beat.
