We enjoyed a two-night stay in a balcony room overlooking the Acropolis. This was a knock-out view from a very large balcony. The room was excellent in all ways, and the breakfast was diverse and very good. Excellent location for walking to many main attractions. Highly recommend!!

excellent location close to Plaka and Temple of Zeus. restaurant on the 8th floor had an incredible view of the Acropolis and historic centre of Athens.

It was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable . We had breakfast and dinner at the rooftop restaurant and it was great. The view from the restaurant was beautiful, day and night. The Acropolis was so close. Plus, it’s located only a couple of blocks away from the historic Plaka district. So nice to just take a short walk to that amazing area with all the restaurants and stores.

My room was on floor 1, too close to the noisy street. The breakfast food was deficient and not good; they can improve here. The view from the top floor is spectacular, the best of the hotel. Location is perfect, right in front of an ancient park and Adrian’s gate. I would stay there again, but in a higher floor room. The front desk people were very friendly and informative.

This was a great hotel. Service was fast. I asked for extra towels and the towels were there in less than two minutes. It was clean and the views were amazing. Walking distance to the Acropolis was a plus. The double decker busses stop very close as well if you want to ride those. Food was great.

The staff was super nice. The location was very convenient to the acropolis. The rooms were very nice. Note that the rooms have views of the temple of Zeus not the acropolis. The upstairs restaurant has views of the acropolis. We had to leave before breakfast so they provided a nice breakfast to go which was very nice.

Lovely stay. Beautiful hotel and amazing view. Don’t forget to dine at their roof top restaurant to enjoy that 360 degree view of Athens.

We had an amazing stay! We will always return to Athens Gate when visiting Athens. The location is perfect. Walk to the Acropolis, the museum, Plaka and other attractions. The rooftop restaurant was good and had a wonderful view of the Acropolis. There are also tons of wonderful restaurants in the neighborhood. The room was clean and comfortable and our balcony had a view of the Temple of Zeus. The staff is friendly and we had a terrific stay!

Centrally located! Across the Temple of Zeus, a quick walk to Hadrian’s Gate… and a reasonable walk to the Acropolis, Monasteraki Square, the Agora and Parliament. Stunning views of the Acropolis from the hotel rooftop restaurant.

An excellent option if you want to visit Athens. Close to the Acropolis, its Museum and Plaka. The front rooms have a view on the Zeus Temple. Breakfast is at the rooftop, with a view at the Acropolis. Good value for money.

We had one night in Athens. The hotel was in a great location. Sunset views of the Acropolis at the rooftop bar was magical.
Lots of restaurants, bars and shops close by. Easy walking distance to a lot of the tourist sites.
Front desk was super helpful with storing our luggage when we returned a few days later until we left for the airport.

Great location for a day stay in Athens before going to the islands. Right at the base of the Acropolis and steps away from the plaka. The view at night of the Parthenon is amazing from the rooftop restaurant/lounge. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They even packed boxes breakfast for us on our early morning ferry ride t9 Santorini. Would definitely stay here again next time in Athens.

My only negative thing I have to say is we were with a party of 10 others and we were the only couple to not have our room ready till the latest check in time and the rest of the group had their rooms ready when we arrived between 11am and 12pm.

Hotel had great staff. Frienedly and helped with questions etc. It was located within 2 blocks of the entrnce to the acropolis and many nearby attractions. Only downside is rooms are small.

This hotel is great! Perfect location. An easy walk anywhere downtown Athens. Close to Hop On Hop Off buses and metro station. There is an amazing restaurant on the roof. What a view! Staff was so friendly and accommodating to our large group. Service was wonderful. Breakfast buffet is included and is excellent. It’s a no brainer to stay here!
