Amazing place to stay close to the centre of Salzburg. We received an excellent welcome and were able to drop out bags early. The room was of a good size and was well provisioned. We were to the rear of the hotel where it was quiet. The room we had, had no aircon which wasnt a problem for us but others may wish to be able to adjust the temperature. The staff were excellent and were always happy to assist. Breakfast was very good with plenty of options

Lovely tradition hotel with excellent service , our only problem was that there want a bar to relax in and the advertised coffee shop was closed during our stay.

We paid $370 for a room that was old and outdated. The towels in our room were both dirty, one of them with lipstick still on the towel! This hotel is not a 4 star hotel and totally overpriced!

We came for only 1 night, but the staff was friendly and super helpful! The room was clean and comfortable. We walked everywhere, which was nice! The breakfast was delicious!

Excellent, private hotel and close walking distance to all the sites and things to see in the Old City. Close to bus and transportation. Wonder front desk personnel who can arrange concerts, tours and restaurants

It rained while we were here, but the bus stops were across the street from the hotel and were very easy. We got the Salzburg card from the front desk and it gave us free bus transportation, even back to the train station. Front desk staff were very helpful! They had free umbrella's to use at the door.

This location was great for us as we took 2 tours with Panorama, which is right around the corner. Restaurants were very close. Front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights in August. We loved the closeness to the Mirabelle Gardens. It allowed me to take walks around the garden during the morning and evening. It is centrally located within Salzburg to many of the touring locations. The staff and service were excellent.

Amenities are poor, hair dryer is not working.
Rooms are old, needs update.
Breakfast was average.
No drinking water or freshly squeezed juice.
Cheese, Cake and cookies selection are poor.

The rooms could use a little work, and the AC was kind of creaky and loud, but this is a nice hotel for being in the heart of Salzburg and the staff were very helpful.

Great location, kind staff, beautiful cornered/spacious room, we were lucky to be for the town's market which is set on a parking property beside the hotel. Splendid visit, great attention, lovely Salzburg!

Staff was super nice, especially Julia (the blonde hair one) She helped us with show reservations and had good restaurant recommendations. Hotel is in a super convenient location. The bus dropped us off right in front of the hotel. The "Sound of Music" tour started a block away as was the Mirabellplatz. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance.

Front staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful. Family room with adjoining rooms were spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms were well appointed. Breakfast was fantastic and the best of a two week trip out of everywhere we stayed.

A very nice hotel with a very friendly and professional staff. The room was good size with enough spaces to store our stuff. The only downside was having to take out everything from the mini bar in order to use it to chill our beverages and, unfortunately, the temperature in it was not low enough for this purpose.

The staff at the front desk were extremely courteous and helpful upon when we checked in and they were friendly throughout the remainder of our stay. Breakfast offered many options and was delicious. The hotel is located across the street for the Mirabell Palace and Gardens and is within easy walking distance from other major Salzburg attractions.

If you are booking this hotel be aware it is very basic. There are very few amenities - only one pillow, only shampoo in the shower, very small shower and bathroom, no facecloths (I had to ask). On the other hand the staff very very friendly and helpful. Good location.
