Excellent location and clean room. Staffs are super kind.

Great location as it was in the middle of the town and just walking distance across from the bridge to old town. Nice room overlooking the street. Loved the breakfast buffet, and staff were very friendly. Only complaint was that the air conditioning didn’t work that well, so it was warm at night.

We loved staying at this hotel! Hotels can make it difficult traveling with families, but this hotel had room for our entire family. It was perfectly situated.

What a lovely hotel! Everything was very clean and comfortable. In the evenings, we spent much time downstairs near the bar and reception area. Everyone was very pleasant and extremely helpful, especially Daniel, Ossama and Andy. We highly recommend this hotel, and we would absolutely stay here again.

This hotel has a very convenient location. It is pretty and clean with a gorgeous and comfortable lobby/bar area. The parking garage is only a few blocks away. The staff went above and beyond - thank you to Daniel, Osamma and Andy. The family suites are very spacious - a great value if traveling with kids. We would absolutely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Altstadthotel Wolf-Dietrich. It was clean, comfortable and spacious for 4 adults. It far exceeded my expectations, and was very close to the pedestrian walking areas of Salzburg. The staff were very polite, helpful and friendly. We will consider staying here for our next trip to Salzburg!

For a hotel that is upwards of $350/night, it didn’t meet expectations. Our room- AC is subpar, there’s minima air movement with open windows. The minibar was advertised in the room with prices but was empty. Our hotel shampoo bottles were empty on arrival. Daily room cleaning service didn’t refill coffee/tea or provide clean glasses when used, only dropped off new towels. The hotel bar is not staffed by a bartender (the front desk manager does it all), and while they advertise $11 “mixed cocktails” they are actually pre-prepared packets (Nio?) that they add to ice, not mixed drinks. The pros of this place include: good breakfast, good location to restaurants and shops, lovely breakfast waitstaff. They deserve praise for their kindness and attentiveness.

We booked this location because of the ac unit- we were hit and needed a break from the heat (yes, we are spoiled from the US). The ac did not cool the unit at all. We ended up opening the windows at night. The facility and room were eclectic (red upholstered bed headboard and frame). We appreciated the assistance with the luggage and the elevator. I would not stay in this property again.

Excellent location. Great check in with the staff. Room is wonderful. We didn’t swim or eat, so can’t comment on that. I would stay there again.

Fantastic spa, steam room, sauna and swimming pool in an easy walk to shopping, cafes, bakeries, grocery stores, old town and Mirabel Palace locations where the Sound of Music was filmed... free breakfast of healthy options and super cold A/C was a plus during the summer. We will stay here on our next Austrian adventure!

We booked a family room and upon arrival the hotel placed us on the 4th floor and informed us that the elevator ONLY goes up until the 3rd floor. We had to lift luggages two flights up just to get to our room. This should be explained upon booking and not for guest to find out on arrival. the hotel should expect more luggages for family rooms and placing the room with no elevator access is a big failure on their part. Not booking this hotel again

Family of 4, stayed in a familiy suite (galarie). The room was clean, updated and perfect for a family with 2 bathrooms and plenty of space. AC was nice, room was quiet. Didn't use the spa but it looked very nice. Best was location - 30 sec walk to very nice pedestrian street filled w/ shops and restaurants and leading right to the bridge which takes you across the river into the main part of the old town. Will stay here again when we return. Good value.

Great location - just about 10 minutes across the river to the old town square, and many restaurants near the hotel. Room rate was good and the room very clean and nice. Lastly the Concierge Helmut was very friendly and helpful and also allowed us an early check-in. All in all, a great experience.

The Hotel is located near the central train station and is a short walk to restaurants, shops and old town center for sightseeing. Their breakfast is the Best!

Clean hotel with comfortable rooms and attentive, helpful staff. The rooms have fridges, a good amount of storage space for clothing etc and safes that can easily accommodate a 13" laptop. The only criticism I would have is that the WC is very close to the shower but not being tall was a useful characteristic in tthis regard.

Comfortable and convenient. Walkable to old town and very easy to get to and from the hbf.
