Room had hair on floor,bed had stains on sheets, was not clean

Mattress was soooo used it was caved in int the middle and shower curtain rod kept falling down and was a huge slip hazard at least put those grips on the bottom of bathtubs.. needs work .

Rooms musty smelling tile floors never been mopped wear shoes in the room, homeless people living in room next door, some one tried to kick our door in at night…

It is an older facility but the rooms were very clean, bathroom and shower were great and it was comfortable. Was perfect for my needs. Only issues were TV wasn't great (but fine for me), was hard to block out the light outside (curtains not quite long enough) and I noticed a little light coming in around bottom of door (didn't affect me because weather was mild). Overall a nice, not fancy, place and the most reasonable priced I found in this area.

Rush trip to Florida to survey hurricane damage so arrived late and left early. So tired i misbooked the date! Desk clerk handled it smoothly which i greatly appreciated!

The place needs an update urgently and overall it's lacking some love. It wasn't dirty, but it wasn't clean either. Breakfast was okish. The coffee was horrible. The staff was all lovely but it felt like they had given up on their overall job.

Rooms could use updating. This includes tv,curtains, mattresses and furniture. Otherwise its ok.

The floors were dirty. Dust everywhere. Flys everywhere (not that they can help that). The curtains, pillow cases and sheets had stains. Condoms outside.
However, the staff was friendly. If you’re looking for something cheap and don’t necessarily care about the cleanliness, it’s all good. Just not a right fort for my family.

The night clerk along with the staff and owner were extremely friendly and respectful! The hotel was quiet and the beds we're good with great pillows. You couldn't ask for a better location. Even the gas station at the corner had an amazing mobile mexican restaurant!!

I book them room for my daughter and her young children. The security lock was missing, almost like the door was kicked in. Not only was there a lack of safety but her two year old opened the door by himself and walked outside. This was not acceptable to me but she was exhausted and didn’t want to change rooms

Myles did the great job checking us in. This is a motel so face the outside. The rooms are simple, but incredibly clean. There’s a big refrigerator and a microwave, bath is generous.
Breakfast offers, homemade waffles, fresh fruit, fruit, juices, milk, cereal, variety of breads for toasting, and pastries. I cannot imagine why anyone would not love this breakfast. Of course there’s coffee and tea as well. The icemaker is in the lobby.
There is a Panera that is open for breakfast and all day on the parking lot of the motel, one minute walk.
The location is amazing as the embassy suites is right down the street at triple the price. There is a huge Mallregional mall right across the street. I give this hotel 5 stars for value and staff.

Saftey latch on main door broke had to fix, bathroon door bottom falling out. One night was very loud. Staff was nice bed was comfy. Ac worked welll.

Conveniently located, I arrived around 9:30pm. Since I was traveling alone, I felt very safe and was able to park in front of my 1st floor room.
Staff was very friendly and helpful both checking in and out. Room was very nice, clean and didn't look run down or had a smell to it.
Wish I had time to stay to enjoy it longer since I was just passing through.

Right when we walked into our room the smell of cigarettes hit us in a “non-smoking room”. The bathroom was so dirty that it was pretty disgusting to even walk on the floor

I came to this hotel based on an emergency and Myles, Sonny, Kimberly and many other staff were absolutely PHENOMENAL!! I CANT THANK THEM ENOUGH FOR THEIR OUTSTANDING HOSPITALITY AND I WOULD ALWAYS RECOMMEND THIS DAYS INN HOOVER ALA TO ALL OF MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY AND ASSOCIATES!!!! When I booked the room, I thought that the property would be more up to date. The facility was a much older one and mothing really was updated about rhe rooms. The bed was hard for starters. Then the bathroom wqs not good. The shower head had not been cleaned in a long while as it had a lot of buildup around the water holes and the shower curtain was dingy and had old dried stains in it. The towels were also hard feeling and dingy. To add to all of that, it was very noisy! You could hear walking and talking throughout from inside of the room. I was terribly disappointed.

This hotel served its purpose, we were looking to rest our heads for the night, and didn’t need anything fancy. The breakfast wasn’t bad, and the room was comfortable. It’s not fancy, but I knew that when I booked it. Great staff!

Room smelled of cigarettes, dirty and not kept up. Plastic ripping from the refrigerator, freezing cold tile floor throughout, no carpet. Probably because of the cigarette smell. Very poor quality for the expensive price.
