Hotel was dirty room smelled furniture broken will not return

Fridge did not work. Light on mirror/ sink area did not work. Little lighting in the room so with that out, was unable to use sink or mirror. Told desk about issues morning after first night stay. They said they would get it fixed. Told housekeeping on the floor of the issues. They said ok. When i came back that night nothing was fixed. Informed desk person upon check out that nothing was repaired to which he responded. "No worries we will get it fixed "

I booked a single king room. I asked to check in an hour early or check my bag… neither were available. When I did arrive much later in the evening, I got a double queen room with adjoining door. The shower was never cleaned from previous days and still had lots of hair in it.

Adequate and clean. Last minute booking and they had no toothbrushes and toothpaste for this tired traveler. Nice breakfast but no covers for the coffee cups

I found it sad that homeless people were sleeping outside.

This hotel fit my budget. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The shower pressure and fixture was awesome!. Better than my own . The one thing that ruined it for us was all the smells in the hotel. Walking to our room for the first time smelled like a fish fry!!! Then we got into our room and it was so musty, Smokey and just nasty! Once you were in there you got use to it a bit. If I was on a tight budget I’d stay again and bring a nose plug and air fresher lol

Facilities were "Fine" however too may people wandering/hanging out around the parking lot. Lastly noise from other rooms (including arguments), and people/slamming opening doors after 11:00pm made property feel somewhat insecure

I will never stay at this location again. There were drug deals going on in the hallway outside of my room door. There was a party going on in the unit below me, whose bass was so load it was shaking my room. The room was dirty, the refrigerator smelled like moldy cheese and there was mold in the microwave. The property itself was dirty and and was littered with cigarette butts and trash was laying around. This was in and outside of the hotel. I use that term very loosely. The beds were uncomfortable and on metal frames that squeaked anytime you moved.

Host was really kind with check in and check out. We would have liked a gym/pool but otherwise our stay was good. Bed was not too soft or too firm, room did not have bad odor.

I was greeted very warmly by the employee that checked me in at the front desk. However, I did not like that the door to the hotel room assigned to me was left open by propping the security latch to ensure the door wouldn’t lock. Not very safe. Anyone could have had access to the room and I could have been confronted with a very dangerous situation. Upon inspection of the hotel room, it appeared mostly cleaned. I left the hotel to meet up with friends. Upon return, as I walked thru the lobby, I was hit by an overwhelming smell that made me nauseous. I showered and was getting ready for bed. I turned over the sheets and immediately noticed crumbs and hair all over the bed. I walked to the front desk to request a room change. The front desk employee was courteous and helped me find another room. As I walked toward my new room, I noticed that the stairs leading up to the room were littered with garbage. As I made the trek down the hallway to my room, there was a garbage container used by housekeeping to remove trash from rooms, out in the open along the hallway to the rooms. Not a good policy to leave garbage littering along the hallway to guests’ rooms. Once I entered my second room, I inspected the room for cleanliness. It was satisfactory, however, I did have to ask for towels and inform the front desk employee that the remote control for the TV was nowhere to be found, so I wouldn’t be charged for the missing equipment. Towels were immediately made available.

The rooms are not ADA . You couldn't get a wheel chair in our bathroom, no support bars. There were homeless people sleeping in the parking lot in their cars and trucks

Hotel room was dirty and not well kept. Lots of people running around til 3-4 in the morning. It seemed liked several families lived there based on activities.

The room was clean enough, there were only 3 towels and one wash cloth for 3 people shower was very low pressure and looked to be pulled out of the wall and was the hook on the door. Mattress was so had my back and hip hurt, AC did not keep up with the outdoor temps. The hall to our room seam to be storage for other people where they left shoes and other items they didnt want in their room making navigation annoying. Dont take a lower level room because the upstairs sounds like they are coming through the ceilings. Breakfast was good , coffee is terrible go to Starbucks. Front desk girl was super friendly and very over worked she cant be in 5 places at one time. Very disappointed in the place wont stay again. We come up yearly for the fair wont stay here

Old hotel

Guys, don’t stay here! There was an argument out in the parking lot right when I got there. There is no elevator and people are hanging out everywhere including the staircase. I got catcalled when I got up the stairs. The room looks as if it was broken into the frame was broken dead bolt was broken off. If you pushed my door hard enough it would open. I didn’t even stay a night and forfeit my entire weekend stay. Staff did not look surprised by this at all. They just told me to have a good night. Very unsafe feeling.

Overall, it was a good place to stay. Exceptions to that were the in-room refrigerator did not work at all and I received no maid service after initial check-in. Still, it was a comfortable room at a reasonable price. I'll probably go back there when I return next year.

For the price of a room it’s a good option overall. I’ve seen other reviews about issues like and customer service, but the lady at the front desk was awesome. She communicated well and made sure to do her best to make sure we could get checked in early. While yes it’s no luxury hotel, you can’t beat it. There were a few sketchy people around the outside of the hotel, but no sort of alarming issues. For a place to stay the night it was great! Comfy beds, clean rooms, and free breakfast.

Staff was friendly but overall, the premises felt unsafe and the outside area was fairly dirty. There were people both inside and outside the hotel that were loitering and made me and my friends feel nervous. In one of the rooms we rented out, the deadbolt was missing—it looked like it was broken off—which added to our feeling of unease. If you’re going to the Ren Faire, make a day of it and drive home if you can, otherwise find somewhere else to stay.

Easy for my trip south

Our first nights stay was terrible! We had a drug dealing going on outside our door in the hallway and a detoxing woman yelling and threatening to kill herself. The hotel room smelled like marijuana nearly every night. Something shady was going on outside in the parking lot each night. The quality of the room could have been much better. Only two towels for 4 people, the shower was broken and furniture falling apart. We tried to get reimbursed for the first nights stay due to feeling unsafe in this environment, but was declined. We are very disappointed in the management of this building.

Service was average

the walls were very thin , could here a lot going on within the other rooms very clean and bed was very comfortable

Days Inn was OK, But would not stay there on my next trip.
