We had a nice stay. The hotel is a bit outdated but the location is perfect and the service was wonderful.

Service was great. Only complaint is our sofa bed had dirty sheets/blankets on it, it seemed like it was just folded up and not cleaned. We discovered it after the front desk help just left. I didnt want to call someone in so we just removed and made due with other sheets. Im sure if i called they would have fixed it.

We were there for a long weekend. Lived all the Roosevelt quotes all over the hotel. Could have spent a good chunk of time just wandering the halls reading the quotes. Breakfast was good. Lots of options. Our room was good. Quiet at night. Only issue was the sink drained very slowly. Overall great place to stay if you are visiting Mount Rushmore. Kids approved. The indoor pool was a nice perk. I found it to be a task fold, but the kids thought it was just fine. Had no problem with checking in super late. The staff was very accommodating to this situation. Would stay again.

This was our second stay. The home cooked breakfast with lots of options is great! The hotel has lots of history and is located near lots of sights (Mt. Rushmore for example). We enjoyed the game room.

Great location near Mr. Rushmore, Custer state park, and crazy horse monument. One of the few hotels open after high season. Many businesses and restaurants are closed for the season. Room was spacious, comfortable, and electric fireplace was a nice treat. The daily breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

We love this hotel. Price was great and the breakfast was delicious with lots of choices. The staff was friendly and helpful! Ashley checked us in and she was SOOOO nice and deligent. Rooms were nicely decorated bedding was high quality.

Maybe we had a bad room, but ours was small, had the bathroom sink in the room not in the bathroom and had a weird 3 steps up to two chairs and small table, which made it feel even smaller. The hotel feels dated and In need of renovation. High note, the breakfast is good and includes eggs and sausage as well as bread items and cereal. We stayed one night and it was fine for that. It does have some amenities like a pool and game room. I’d try a different hotel next time in the area as this one is just ok. Service was great at front desk.

Very nice hotel. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Fresh fruit, eggs, sausage, french toast, rolls and coffee 24/7. We'll definitely stay there again.

The stay was very nice. Breakfast was excellent and the staff was very friendly. The only shortcoming was the dated shower with stone shower pan. Water would go past the pull curtain and the stone needs a good scrubbing. The game room could use an update. Pool looked very inviting.

We had a wonderful stay at the Roosevelt Inn. The staff was extremely nice and very helpful. Our room was small, but it was spotlessly clean and neatly arranged. The morning breakfast was delicious and had a large selection of food. I would highly recommend this Inn.

As a family that travels on the regular, this was by far the best stay ever. Amazing staff which were nitnonly extremely accommodating but extremely personable as well. From front of house to house keeping (which clean from top to bottom), I couldn't dream of one bad thing to say. I woild most certainly stay here again if im visiting the area.

Cute 'older' hotel. Stayed 3 nights w/ 2 kids. Staff were friendly and helpful. Perfect location. Easy walks to keystone for meals and shopping.
Few negatives -- Pool was small, cold (kids didn't mind it) and could have used a cleaning (scrub on the sides). They have a game room we did not use.
Didn't like the ice machine (found 2 black things on the ice... so we didn't use it) and did not mention it to staff. Our bathroom door was hard to shut (my daughter kept getting stuck). Parking lot was tight. And, difficult to park especially with our big vehicle.
Overall a nice hotel. Nice location. Would stay again.

We enjoyed the Roosevelt theme and the staff were kind and polite. However, during our 3000 mile road trip, we stayed at quite a few pet friendly hotels. This was the ONLY one which charged an extra fee for the "additional cleaning" necessary for pets. The carpeting in our room was stained everywhere. We made sure we wore slippers rather than walk barefoot on it. Dust was evident. I don't believe the $25 pet fee was justified or appropriate. The breakfast was adequate. After this hotel, we stayed in a Staybridge in Denver. What a remarkable difference! The Staybridge was clean and truly pet-friendly.

We had a wonderful stay! The staff was very nice/accommodating. The breakfast was very good. The room was cute with the additional area to sit and look outside and the beds were very comfortable which doesn't always happen at hotels. Very close to mount Rushmore and keystone is a very central location to be able to see things both north and south without having to drive a longer distance.

Breakfasts weren't copious but delicious! Al three days we had several hot items to pick from along with pastries, breads and cereals. Hot items are made on site, not reheated prepackaged items.
The carpet in our living area was very loose, not well installed. Possible tripping hazard.
