It was good stop over on my journey through Jasper. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Hotel had 2 on site dining options. My room had a balcony but didn't use it since it was in November. But overall the rooms are pretty good.

My husband and I decided to come up to Jasper for a night to come see all the damage from the fires this past summer. We brought our two little dogs with us and we just walked around town and we also did our Christmas shopping in Jasper to help the economy and local shops. It was a good little getaway but very sad to see the devastation. Forest Park Hotel was very quiet, just like everywhere in Jasper. I’ve never see the town this quiet. It was eerie. The hotel was quiet, clean, and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately for us, the hot tub was under maintenance so we couldn’t enjoy a little soak but not a big deal. The restaurant was good and the service was quick. The room was very nice and clean. I love the black out floor to ceiling curtains. My only complaint was that the pillows were very soft and thin. I didn’t sleep that good and woke up with a kink in my neck. If you like a solid pillow, bring your own or ask for more pillows. But all in all a great stay. Would definitely recommend and be back.

The situation in Jasper Town was not very good due to the big 2024 wildfire, but all the staff were very kind and helpful. Also the building is very cool, clean and in a good position. Recommended!!

We had a great stay at the Forest Park Hotel! We thought being at the end of Connaught Drive would feel far away from Jasper's centre, but it was a really easy walk into town and close to the local grocery store, so we didn't feel disconnected at all. The staff were great, the room was a great size and really comfortable. Whilst we didn't use the pool, it was a lovely added bonus! It was really close to the highway so we could easily get out to the local lakes and hikes. Would recommend the Forest Park Hotel to anybody looking for places to stay in Jasper!

Our stay was very nice. Room was as expected; perfectly fine. Restaurant staff, for both dinner and breakfast, were professional, congenial, and helpful. Breakfast buffet was very nice, with a good selection and reasonable value for money. Location at the end of the main street was quiet but still an easy walk to downtown. I believe it has survived the fire of 2024 in the town with minimal damage. It's a good place to stay.,

We book ended a weekend with a night here on Thursday and Sunday. The first night our shower was a bit tricky (loose fawcet) but the second night was perfect.

July 24th, 2024 we received an email regarding there were wildfire days that caused government official closed the high way to Jasper town and Jasper park , evacuate all residents, businesses, and visitors for many hours …..until today July 27th, the roads and highways to Jasper are still closed due to safety concern. But Forest Park Hotel deny our no show for above reasons, refused to provide refund to us even though the Hotels.com where we booked this hotel with for these two nights (July 25th till July 27th) also could not get Forest Park Hotel to agree upon the refund due to we could not show up to check in for above unforeseen, helpless reason at myside.

We loved our stay at the Forest Park Hotel! We had spacious rooms and it was very quiet and nice. The staff was super friendly, and the breakfast was amazing!

The staff is amazing and especially the maintenance guy and the gentleman who did our early check out. Both were very helpful and gave us the most valuable information for making the decision to leave we got out of Jasper safely just a bit prior to the order of evacuation. Thank you

The pool was great. The balcony was nice. The fridge was small, and it was annoying to have to share a communal microwave. The shower turned off a few times for no reason. And the internet was out for most of our stay. Still, it generally served our needs.

We enjoyed our stay at your property. We were in the 3rd building which was great because it was very hot in the main building. That is one reason we did not eat there because the dining is too close to the pool and it was very warm in that entire area.

I liked having balkony. Bed was quite comfortable. Bathroom was very small and dated. Toalet bowl was unusually low and weird. Carpet in hallway and room has some stains.

I had a three-night stay at this property. Upon check-in, I was informed about ongoing internet connectivity issues, with assurances that the problem would be resolved promptly. However, the issue persisted throughout my stay and was not rectified even by the time of my departure on the fourth day. This experience led me to question the authenticity of their claims regarding the availability of Wi-Fi services. Furthermore, when I sought compensation for the inconvenience caused, the response from the front desk staff was less than courteous. I would advise potential visitors to consider other accommodations if available

Hotel room had a musty smell. Breakfast area and buffet were very nice. Not close to main downtown area so you have to drive or eat at hotel. Carpet and other aspects of the hotel were worn. It was ok for 1 night.

No internet during our stay which also meant no television. This was problematic as we also did not get cell service there. Also, air conditioning was not working properly during our stay. Room was clean and newer.

My husband and I stayed 4 nights in July. The staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. We stayed in the older woodland rooms which we were okay but in need of upgrades including addition of electrical outlets to accommodate our breathing machines.
Breakfast and server at Walter’s was great.
