Arrived with a cat expecting $50/night pet fee as posted in the hotel fees but was told the fee was $75. The hotel website is to be updated.
The room was well-appointed and comfortable. The rating of 4 is because the carpet in front and to one side of both AC units was soaking wet. We’d definitely stay here again.

The room wasn’t cleaned properly. The bathroom was full of other people’s hair. No one ever came to give us new towels or trash bags so we had to go down and ask. Then to top it off our car got broken into in their parking lot at 1pm in the afternoon. This hotel has security and gates to enter and exit. The front desk said we’d get a refund for the night we didn’t stay and the $100 hold we’d get back so we’ll see if that actually happens or we’ll just have to end up calling and getting it returned.

We arrived and even though we had a confirmation number with a copy of the confirmation shown, we were told that we did NOT have a reservation! We did not get the suite I booked and had to take a lesser type room AND had to pay even more for it. I was having surgery very early the next morning and we live about 3 hours from the hospital so that is why we chose to stay at the hotel. I think next time we will just get up early and drive. Very dissatisfied

When we got into our room the shower was full of pubic hair and the towels had been used. The lady at the was really nice she switched our room and the room she switched us didn’t have a microwave so I had to go downstairs to warm up food.

I liked the neighborhood very much. The gentleman that finally came out when I arrived I think was the manager. He was very short with me. Not welcoming at all. The young lady that was at the desk at check out was very friendly and helpful.
My room was quite a ways from the elevator so moving in and out of my room was cumbersome. The breakfast and staff that prepared it was great

The place was clean and the staff was friendly, the lady in charge of the breakfast was friendly and she go and ask everyone if we were ok and if we need something, before she closes the breakfast area she lets everyone know so you can go and get more if you want to.

Two things could have made it better. 1. I reserved a room with a king bed. I received a call from the hotel saying that my choice wasn’t available and they wanted to switch me to a room with two queen beds. I said “No”. I prepaid for the room and that is what I wanted. 2. I’m a Hilton Honors member. Somehow that didn’t carry across. I asked the person at the desk to add it when I checked in. They didn’t.

The property is located in a good area of the city. However, the property itself is poorly managed, poorly cleaned, and poorly ventilated. The halls were warm and humid, which is weird to feel as though you’re walking through misty clouds. It’s a nasty feeling. The room was haphazardly cleaned: greasy countertops, unkempt carpet, sticky furniture, and traces of black & tan smudges in the shower. I was disgusted! The elevator door will CLOSE ON YOU in 2 seconds flat!! Someone has to stand in the doorway of the elevator and push the door back just for it not to take you out!!! Management at check in (around 3:00 pm) was polite yet unhelpful. Management later that night (a tall black man) was also polite while being much more helpful. In all I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone! Not even an enemy!!!

you have to notify 24 hours in advance to get daily room cleaning! what the heck!!!!! The floor was not clean when I first went in, so they don't take their housekeeping seriously. parking is a pain because you have to get a ticket to get in and use that ticket to get out. It's only good for one get out, and I had to call for help every time I left the property.

We were assigned adjoining rooms which was perfect but one of the rooms was not clean so they had to be relocated to another room. I was not aware that parking was not feee and the tickets often did not scan correctly which was inconvenient as we had to wait for the front desk to open the gate. I did Dee safe and secure but would prefer one card key for the parking gate.

The place was decent but the mattress had a very large dimple that made my wife and I both roll to the middle canyon in the bed all night.

The hotel was fantastic except I was surprised to find out that they changed us $4 a day to park. The gate in and out was also a little inconvenient. There was construction going on in the street that made getting into the parking lot a little challenging. The hotel itself was great and everyone was very friendly. Breakfast and the pool were very good.

We only stayed one night, we had a suite with no cutlery no plates or cups, we eventually found them in the dishwasher still dirty, the manager said he couldnt give us a reduction as we booked by a third party, which is a good kop out in my opinion,

We had a suite. The kitchen was ok but the sink was VERY TINY. The bathroom sink was three times the size of the kitchen. The kitchen was not well stocked - had one fork but three spoons. The microwave with light and fan didn’t work. There was no tea towels or paper towel no dish soap.
For a suite it was not good.

You do need to request your room to be cleaned which we were not told.

I usually stay at the Hampton after finding bedbugs at a Quality Inn and a big mess at a Baymont.
Anyway, it was generally good as usual but a few little things indicated that there was a lack of attention to detail. First, we found some candy wrappers in the corner, making us wonder if the room had been vacuumed. Also the room smelled a bit stale or smokey, although it was a non-smoking floor. The alarm clock didn't work. I checked and the batteries were corroded. Also the bulb in the bathroom nightlight had burned out.
Trivial things indeed, but not what I expect from Hampton. On the plus side, the bed was comfy and the room was quiet. The AC worked well, as did the TV. ( Which was turned on when we entered, which I hadn't experienced anywhere before.) Staff were cheerful and nice. Breakfast was pretty good, but standard hotel stuff.
Neighborhood was nice, felt safe. Short walk to a couple restaurants, including a great Irish pub and some other places.
